1-13-03 I haven't met with him yet, will be meeting him in 2 weeks, but I have heard good things about him. I have my 1st consultation with Dr.Bina on Monday January 20th.

1-22-03 I met with Dr.Bina on Monday. He was very nice and very informative. He answered all my questions in depth and explained the surgery and the risks involved with great detail. I felt really comfortable with him. He was very easy to talk to.


2-5-03 I have a date already and its only a week away. Dr. Bina and his staff are great.

Dr. Bina was and continues to be very caring and patient. I highly recommend him.

His secretary is very nice and John Walker, his surgical coordinator has been a treasure!

I honestly can't say there is anything I don't like about him.
If you have a question, just ask and Dr. Bina will answer. He is very forthcoming.

Dr. Bina strongly emphasizes aftercare, insisting that his patients see him once a week for a month, then once a month for several months after that. At the monthly visits the dietician Sara Weyenberg is present to check up on the patients and to answer any questions.


He explained the risks of surgery very carefully and didn't try to sugar coat it. He wants people to know that this surgery is serious and not to be taken lightly.

Overall, I would say that Dr. Bina is an excellent doctor and if I had the choice today I would still have gone to him rather than to a doctor here in town because he is so competent and caring. No joke.

These were my honest impressions of Dr. Bina's work. Some say he is a little too serious, but I disagree. He has always been very nice to me and my family.

I had a very good surgical experience with no problems, but I don't mean to say that it will go so easily for everyone. Please consider all the facts before making any decisions about this surgery.
