Derrick Jeter, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center

I initially started out with the Bariatric Center in Schaumburg but found a place closer to my home.

I am currently seeing Dr. Jeter and I think he's wonderful. They have a very in-depth bariatric program at St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare that Dr. Jeter runs. So far I've been very impressed with him and his staff.

I am currently awaiting approval from my insurance company. Once I have my approval I go to see Dr. Jeter and sign consent forms for surgery and hopefully get a surgery date.

What I like is that he tries to do the surgery lap vs. open.
