Dr.G is very thorough in explaining everything you could possibly ever want to know about the procedure. He's very personable and his staff is very understanding.
DR GOROSPE IS A VERY GOOD SURGEON. HE LETS YOU KNOW UPFRONT WHAT TO EXPECT. HE SAID IT WILL BE A HARD ROAD. HE ALSO EXPLAINED EVERY ASSPECT OF THE SURGERY. HE REQUIRES YOU TO GO TO THE SUPPORT GROUP,WICH IS VERY GOOD HE ALSO ATTENDS EVEN WITH HIS BUSY SCHEDUAL. DR. GOROSPE DOES ALL KINDS OF SURGERYS, SO IT IS HARD TO GET THE APPOINTMENTS YOU MAY NEED. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL IN MY OPINION.BUT HE ALSO CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS PERSONALLY. WHEN I HAD SURGERY HE ALSO FIXED MY INGROWN TOENAIL, I THINK HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR MY HEALTH. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS NOT A POSITIVE WAS THE STAY IN THE HOSPITAL. I THINK THEY WERE UNDERSTAFFED, AND DIDNT FEEL I GOT ENOUGH ATTENTIONTO MINOR PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING. DR GOROSPE DID NOT VISIT AT THE HOURS I EXPECTED.
He was very kind and supportive regarding the surgery, good at answering questions about it. However, he is so busy (with surgeries of all types) that I had quite a few appointments cancelled or delayed because of his schedule. I had a small complication while in the hospital postop and he came over immediately and checked it out and corrected it.
He seems very confident in his work. He lets you know up front it's not going to be easy.
