Dr. Yasrebi is a first class doctor. He takes his time with every patient to make sure he really understands their needs so that he can perform the most successful surgery possible. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering weight loss surgery. He sets high standards for his patients and these standards ensure that his patients are both mentally and physically prepared to change their lives. He is also amazing about follow up after the surgery. There was never a day when I had a question go unanswered because he made sure to follow up with me and that is something that other doctors are not willing to take the time to do.

He deserves a 5 star rating!

Dr. Yasrebi was my only choice as the surgeon to perform my surgery. I did extensive research and know several people who also chosen him as their surgeon. I never read or heard one negative comment regarding Dr. Yasrebi. He spent over two hours with my on my initial visit and during subsequent visits I have never felt like a number being rushed through my visit to get to the next patient.
Dr. Yasrebi is the most caring and thorough physician who has ever cared for me. He provides excellent pre-op, post-op, and follow up care. He has never failed to take my call when I have concerns or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Yasrebi if you are considering gastric bypass surgery.

I started seeing Dr. Yasrebi in 2006 at that time i just knew i was in good hands, but in 2007 i lost my job so i could not get the surgery, but now i am back and i am so glad i must say he is very strict with all of his patients but thats only because he is very concerned and wants the absolute best for you, he discuss and explained evrything to me from the highs and lows of the surgery this man is god sent, he has now done over 1400 surgeries and has not lost one single patient and no one has even ever come close, Dr. yasrebi makes sure you are mentally prepared for this transition or he will not do the surgery which means you must no all the what if's and you must show that you want it, which means you must adhere to losing 10% of weight before surgery or he will not touch you, you must eat healthy and he does call to check on you to see what you are eating and making sure you excercise daily fcr atleast an hour, you must also use your spirometer daily , i am so glad that i am in good hands with the BEST Bariactric surgeon in Jacksonville fl i am currently schedule for Sept 3rd for surgery...i absolutely recommend this Doctor to Any and Everybody......

I can not say enough about this man! He is the BEST Dr you will ever find. He is very old school in many ways, but his outcomes are amazing! He calls you at home to check on you, you have his home and cell numbers in addition to his office number and he means for you to use them! He is tough, but if you are considering a gastric bypass, HE IS THE MAN! NO REGRETS here at all!

Dr.Yasrebi is a very knowledgable man,who truly cares for his patients. He is very strict in many areas such as picking and choosing his patients, the program he places for his patience and his after care. So, if you can't follow his orders to the the letter you may want to consider someone else.
He has a good bedside manner but he is not an emotional person.
Dr. Yasrebi came down and walked with the day of my surgery and the next day he came and walked with me in the morning and the afternoon. He called me twice everyday and sometimes more. He cares. He's good

I have known Dr. Yasrebi for 7 years now. He is wonderful and you will never meet a doctor/surgeon like him. Is he strict? He sure is. However, it is the best for his patients. If you don't follow directions before the surgery - how are you going to be afterwards when it really counts? Dr. Yasrebi performed my first RNY in June, 2002. Unfortunately, I developed a fistula and had a blockage and in 2004 required revision surgery. What was bad is that the insurance I had at the time would not allow Dr. Y to do the revision so I was sent up to VA to have it done. It was fixed, however, now there are issues again. I started to have reflux a few months ago, coupled with dry heaving almost every night. We did an upper GI and it shows that we need to do another revision. So - back under the knife, set for the 21st of October with the best surgeon. I know that 3rd time is a charm and I am looking forward to getting everything back in order.
