i met with dr. rohrscheib on july 18th, 2002. he was very thorough in illistrations and communicating to my husband and i about the pros and cons of the surgery. he seemed very nice and so did his office workers.the only time i felt rushed was afterwards when i speaking with rita. i guess i was keeping them from going to lunch.so, i guess next time i will ask for an appt. after lunch-other than that the whole office was very professional.

Dr Rohrscheib explained the procedure to me very well. He seems to be very caring. He also explained the risk involved.
The nurse was great also. Rita the office lady is very professional, and gets the results for you in a very timely manner.
Since my consultation on May 1, 2002 we have talked several times...

3-13-02 I met with my surgeon for the first time today for my pre-op. I loved him. I feel he is very open and compassionate about his patients and his clinical skills are superior. His communication skills are excellent. He kept asking if I had questions. He was not bothered about my previous medical history, he stated he would much rather do surgery on me knowing what my problems have been then someone he knows nothing about and then gets surprised. I was so impressed with his attitude. His nurse Terri was wonderful she is a lady of prayer and I can tell lives her faith. Terri was compassionate also and made me feel very special. The nutrionist is the doctor's wife Chris and she was sweet also she was very informative and kind and professional. She answered all my questions and I know I will have more. She said call me anytime. The front office girl is Rita who takes care of the insurance. She is very helpfull. The whole staff are just wonderfull.
.7-12-02 Dr. Rorshceib called me on the phone today to check how I was feeling? He is the best. I feel so priveledged to have a doc who cares and is compassionate to his patiens. I am so thank full he is my doctor I highly recommend him to anyone.

A wise person told me to choose my surgeon very carefully, it is the most important choice you can make. When I met Dr. Rohrscheib i got a good feeling about him. I think I have made a good choice. I do, however, have reservations about John Warner Hospital just because of it's size, or rather lack of it!

Dr Rohrscheib is very knowledgeable and explained the entire procedure to me. He advised me of all the risks involved with the procedure. He is very nice and his staff is really nice as well. I had my first consultation on 1/7/02 and have been waiting on insurance approval this whole time. Then Rita his insurance person called me and gave me the good news and scheduled the surgery right then and there. I go in for my consult on April 3rd. Getting a little nervous but I am assured that I am in good hands.

I am probably skewed in my perceptions of this guy. My intial visit was with Dr. Brian Boe in Belvidere. Insurance issues forced me to change my plans, so I went to see Dr. Rohrscheib. He didn't address the surgery or risks or whatever with me because I had already done them with Dr. Boe. Dr. Rohrscheib answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood everything. I've only had one visit, and every one was very nice.
