I'm overall very happy with Dr. Afram, his expertise, and his level of care. He is always willing to answer any questions I have, and although he has a busy practice I never feel rushed in my appointments with him. I saw him every day I was in the hospital. His staff is excellent. I really do believe that he saved my life, and I am very grateful for the opportunities he has given me to be healthy and fit.

I first meet with Dr. Lee in April 2010 after my initial WLS informational meeting. Dr. Lee was recommended to me by a co-worker who had just had WLS performed by Dr. Lee. I found her to be extremely personable, patient and caring. She told a lot of time to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything. I left feeling that I was in good hands.

Moving forward 1 year, I went back to see Dr. Lee after meeting all the requirements of my insurance company to get her clearance so my paperwork could be submitted to my carrier. She was exactly the same, thoughtful, patient and personable. She went over in detail the reason why she does certain things and why she doesn't. She took time to go over the possible complications so that you are not caught off guard when/if stumbling blocks occur.

Dr. Lee is affiliated with George Washington University Hospital - Medical Faculty Associates and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a top notch surgeon.

I absolutely love this group. They are very patient oriented and work so hard to support you through this process. I had some minor problems at first because of other medical issues and the Physician Assistant actually gave me her cell phone number in case I ran into trouble over the weekend. I thought with my past surgeries and medical problems that I would have to have open surgery. Dr. Lin was able to do it lap and I was very please to find this when I woke up from surgery. The hospital staff was wonderful and very caring and knowledgeable about the surgery and post op needs.
They will fight with the insurance company and advocate for your rights. I would definitely recommend them to others thinking about having this done.

I first met Dr. Lee a couple of weeks after the weight loss seminarfor a consultation.
She's reminds me of my PCP, very inviting and she LISTENS. We discussed all procdeures
in detail about what it is....what happens....the op......the end result and her weight loss goals for
for me. I was very impressed from the consultation alone! I can't wait to see her again
about my 6 month pre-op review.

This surgeon was great he keep it as realistic as possible.

My First Impressino of Dr. Julite Lee,GREAT BEDSIDE manner. I felt this way consistently. Her Staff members were out standing, introducting me to some staff that had the GB, giving me good tips. Dr. Lee, is very people oriented. No question is dumb, your feelings are considered,and most important, she explains everything if you do not understand. After care is greatly encouraged.She addressed the risk in depth. If there was a grade higher than A, she would get it.

Dr. Lin is very respectful of the body, and therefore, his patients do very well as the body has been treated so gently during surgery. He is part of a fantastic team of nurse practitioner and nutritionist who are realistic and very supportive. He was very honest upfront about what my realistic expectations would be and making sure I knew going in what my best result would be post op. He is affiliated with George Washington Hospital, and comes with the residents and medical students of the program, who were all fantastic, and great to have as a resource during the day when the surgeon wasn't available. I received supurb care from all!

I am very impressed by Dr. Afram's commitment to his patients. He offers an amazing structured aftercare program, which he stresses is a must in order to achieve life-long success. As he stated, "obesity is a disease, not a weakness." He explained, in extreme detail, everything about the surgical procedure, including the risks involved.

Dr. Afram's staff is exceptional. They are
terrific and make the process bearable.

Overall, I would rate Dr. Afram and his staff as excellent.

Dr. Afram is a very prfessional, caring knowledgeable and experienced surgeon. He is excellent at what he does. His office staff is great. They are very efficient and helpful. He is very forward and straight to the point; which is one thing that I love about hm. His program is very well sructured and successful. His seminars are thorough and he is always available for personal support and concerns. Overall I would rate him a '10' and profess that I am having an excellent experience with gastric bypass. I feel that both surgical competence and bedside manner are crucial. Dr. Afram possesses both and I am very comfortable with my choice and experience.

I knew that Dr Afram would be great from the very beginning. He is very knowledgable and experenced as well as the entire staff. He really cares about his patience even after surgery. I thank God that I was lead his way to be my surgeon.
