Dr. Wilson is thorough, compassionate, realistic, and skilled. i was also impressed with his entire surgical team. His office staff is pleasant and efficient, though overworked. the only drawback i came across was his staff nutritionist. But we are blessed with many to choose from through the hospital or other affiliates. Dr. Wilson was similar to having my big brother operate on me, especially when i showed up to the OR a blubbering mess. Then he went above and beyond to make my experience positive!

Dr. Snyder is a wonderful surgeon! Also, Drs. Erik Wilson and Todd Wilson (no relation). All three took excellent care of me before, during, and after surgery - even when I ended up with leak after my VSG. Dr. Snyder even came in on Easter Sunday to check on me (his little boys are just as cute as he is!). I'm a medical professional and I really appreciated the lengths that the entire team went to to ensure my privacy. After the leak, I was on TPN for about 6 weeks and Dr. Todd Smith came by the unit that I worked on to check on me. He always told me that I made him a believer in VSG (I've lost about 160lbs!).

Dr. Wilson performed the Duodenal Switch on me. I am more than pleased with this choice. He is a great surgeon. He does care about his patients and has great bedside manners. I always felt very well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody. I still have to thank him for giving me my life back!!!!

Dr Synder is very professional and fully explained all of my options. My experience and dealings with him are very positive.

Actually Dr. Todd Wilson performed my surgery he is an assosicate of Dr. erick Wilson. No Relationions... Dr. Todd is an excellent dr.. very caring and very throu... I'm so glad that i choose Dr. Todd. would recommend him to anyone who is interested in have the surgery performed

Dr.Snyder is a wonderful doctor not only before but after surgery. His office staff is wonderful as well. I would suggest anyone that is thinking about surgery in the Houston area to use him.

When I had my original lap band surgery in February 2005, my surgeon was Dr. Terry Scarborough. I was very satisfied with Dr. Scarborough and even recommended him to my daughter and several friends who had successful lap band surgery. Dr. Scarborough left the MIST practice and I opted to stay with the original practice and have not regretted it. My surgeon for my revision was Dr. Brad Snyder. Dr. Snyder showed me so much compassion at my lowest moment and expertise when he experienced complicatations during my surgery. For this, I very appreciative and thank God for Dr. Snyder's patience and expertise in my very difficult case.

My first impression of Dr. Wilson was great, he was very warm and friendly and listened to what I had to say. My impression of Dr. Wilson never changed. I did have some issues with the office staff but they were resolved. Dr. Wilson is an amazing surgeon who really cares about his patients. He is very caring and concered about you as an individual and not just a number. His aftercare suggestions are in the patients best interest and very structured and easy to follow. I would give Dr. Wilson a 12 on a scale of 1-10, I would recommend my mother to him. His bedside manner and surgical competence are both amazing and I felt very taken care of.

My surgeon was Dr. Erik B. Wilson from UT MIST (Minimally Invasive Surgeons of Texas). Dr. Wilson is amazing! He listened attentatively to all of my concerns and gave me straight-forward, understandable answers to all of my questions. His support staff is very committed to providing the best service possible. I can't say enough about the quality of care shown by Dr. Wilson. I believe he is the very best WLS surgeon in the world, and would recommend him whole heartedly to anyone considering WLS. Dr. Wilson's commitment to his patients comfort and safety is second to none. He has shown outstanding compassion and care, something that sets him apart from so many others. I am grateful to Dr. Wilson for giving me another chance to be healthy, and happy. I look forward to a more positive lifestyle and personal outlook, and will always have a special place in my heart for Dr. Wilson. He is a perfect 10!
