What can I say about Dr. T? Well...he's a great doctor! He performed my gastric bypass in August of 2003. The lap surgery went very well, no complications. My recovery in the hospital was without incident. All of this is definitely attributable to Dr. T and the fabulous staff at Weustoff Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr. T and his staff treat each and every patient like a member of their family. It is weird for me to say something like that because I've not been able to take advantage of the aftercare programs and support groups as much as I'd like due to distance and my work schedule. But, nonetheless, ANY TIME I need something they are there and are truly focused on me as a person.

btw: I've lost 160 lbs since the day of surgery and have been amazingly happy and healthy!

My first impression of Dr. Tenewitz was how honest and open he was. He was very kind and interested in what I had to say. After the surgery is was very involved and concerned and thorough with my questions. He emphasizes aftercare ande support groups. His office staff is well informed about the procedure as well as what it takes to get approval. I am truly pleased with the experience I had with Dr. Tenewitz.

I think both the surgical competence and bedside manner are great.

Well today i met with Dr. Tenewitz, one on one.. he seemed somewhat personable. He was very matter of fact. He explained everything in detail, told me what to expect and what i would have to do.. His staff all seemed very friendly.

My first impression of Dr T was he was a very smart man. He has lots of experience with this stuff and he is not afraid to share. The staff is perfect, all are specially trained in the WLS and are very caring. Aftercare is very importaint. Dr T requires you to be his patient for life. The aftercare program they have is very good they help you along step by step. I rate Dr T and his staff on a scale of 1 - 10 a 10

My first impression of Dr. "T" was that this was a man who really and truly understood the "Obese" person. He not only understood our struggles, but he cared about us! He never made us feel like we were failures, or that we just didn't use enough willpower. This amazing surgeon, actually sympathized with us and had a soulution for us. He had the ability to give us a tool to use in aiding us to weight loss and over all better health. I
knew from that first informative meeting, that he was the surgeon for me. When I met him at my first consultation, I was at ease with him and he assured me that I was a candidate for the surgery and for the Lap procedure. This made my day! Woooohooo!!!
Dr. Tenewitz and his staff are very caring, and professional. Their after care program is awesome and I travel the 1 hr. drive each month to attend the support group that they offer. I also attend the Orlando support group that they offer as well. This is truly the heart of his practice. to see his patients healthy, happy, and encouraging each of us with all the support he can provide. Thank you Dr. "T" for your loving care! Jeannie Boyer

He appeared very calm, cool, and collected and confident at first. I now believe that he does this to help people and he really cares. He thoroughly believes in aftercare and strongly advises attendance in order to stay with the program. You can call the office with any questions and the staff will make sure that you get an answer promptly. They are an extended family. We love them.

Dr. Tenewitz seems personably enough. Very honest and upfront. There will be problems with my insurance and he mapped out what can be done.

He seems to have a wonderful program and believes in many of the same things I do about foods.

Dr. T is one very special person. I feel as though I owe him so much. His bedside manner is so nice and proper. His aftercare program is very structured. He suggests aftercare and is very strong on it. He is a very nice man with alot of heart. I have been to quite a few support meetings of his and suggest to anyone to go and keep going to one. I have recently moved and unfortunately cannot make it to Dr.T's office because of being 3 1/2 hours away. So now am in the process of looking for another support group and Dr. to keep up with my aftercare. Dr. Tenewitz is a very honest man when it comes to what can happen with the surgery. My opinion is you need honesty as much as possible. Why have a liar. My rating on Dr.T and his whole staff would have to be a 100 on a scale of 1-10. Yes that is 10 times more than should be. If I were to have the surgery again or any other kind I would trust Dr.T and his staff totally.

Dr. Tenewitz was very professional and informative throughout the entire pre-op and post-op process. His impression that he left on me from day one has not changed. I feel that he is THE BEST OF THE BEST! I have interviewed 4 MDs in 3 states. I can't say enough about him and his surgical skill!

Dr. Tenewitz's program is highly structured, efficient, based on sound research, and PRODUCES SUCCESSFUL RESULTS! He is current with best practices as per the American Bariatric Association. His staff is constantly participating in continuing education programs. This is a superior team to work with, bar none.

I liked him and his staff very much. They have been very helpful, and always make me feel special when I call them. On the whole, I think I've found where I need to be and who to be with for this procedure.
After care is a big thing with this group.
He took the time to tell me all the good, bad and ugly about the surgery, and about obesity. I liked the fact that Dr T, and his nurse, John, didn't have one foot out of the door while my parents, and I bombarded them with questions! ;o) They took time to answer them all. I would rate him very highly.
