I thought he was very kind, conscientious and understanding. He spent an hour with us during my initial consultation.

My impression of him only improved after surgery.

His office staff was helpful and courteous and they always remembered who I was.

His office is about 1 hr. from my house and he is very busy with a lot of patients. His waiting room is packed and often times you have to wait to see him.

Although he's busy, he does care and he is an excellent surgeon.

He makes sure you are recuperating before he lets you change anything.

He was upfront with us about the risks of surgery and gave an informative brochure.

On a scale of one to ten, he was an eleven.

They were both awesome.

I felt that he wsa very knowledgable. He answered all of our questions. His office staff is wonderful. They told me to call with any question I might have no matter what it is.

my consultation with him went very well...he was quite informative and very personable...he took the time to answer all of mine and my husbands questions...his office staff is wonderful and extremely patient :) thus far i highly recommend them...

Dr. Kumar was wonderful. Before surgery, I went into his office one last time with a page and a half of questions. He sat down and answered all of them. He helped ease my fears and helped me think positively about everything that was going on. While in the hospital, I saw him 2 times(for only a couple of minutes....that I wasn't sure if I liked, but he assured me that everything went very well and that I was doing extremely well with my recovery). One other thing I wasn't sure if I liked is that he never went down and spoke to may parents after the surgery. He did CALL them on the phone in the waiting room and let them know that everything was fine, but I think I would have perfered a little more personal service for such a major surgery.
Overall, I feel Dr. Kumar was wonderful....the bedside manner was polite but sparce. Surgically, so far, I have to say he is extremely competent. I've had no complications and my strength seems to increase daily.

I really like him. He was very careful to be sure that I knew everything. He took time and sat with me until he was sure I was more comfortable. I really developed a relationship with his receptionist Lori!! What a sweetheart!!! The battle with the insurance compant is a very frustrating one. I did not always conduct myself as a lady! She was a gem though. A VERY big help and together we did it in less then a month!!!!
I will be able to tell you more after the 11th of June. So far so good!!!

Dr. Kumar had put all my fears aside and my husbands. He explained everything thoroughly and did not rush us out of his office. His office staff was very knowledgable and willing to help us get insurance in order.

He did a great job with my surgery. He was very kind and understanding and if i had any problems the hospital had no problems contacting him.

He made me feel like I made the right decision and explained why he did the surgery the way he did and made me feel that I was making the right decision!
