Dr. Hogg is a very caring, thorough, professional surgeon. His staff is on the ball. I have had two procedures done with him as the surgeon and all has gone as smooth as can possibly be.

I would give him and his staff an A+.

Dr. Hogg was very caring and informative. The staff also caring, I was very impressed by his bedside manner. He is a good surgeon and I would refer others to him.

12/10/03 - Dr. Hogg and his staff are very informative and helpful. He is new to the Lap-Band, but has performed Lap RNY and Reflux surgeries for years. After going through my consultation, I am very confident that I am in good hands with Dr. Hogg.

12/16/03 - I wanted to add that Kim in Dr. Hogg's office is wonderful. She is great at getting referral appointments quickly, always returns calls promptly and is available at any time.

Dr. Hogg is AWESOME. He didn't rush me through any of my appointments. He took his time and made sure I had MY time to ask him questions. I have seen him three times and he has been extremely helpful and understanding. He even took time to answer any questions my boyfriend had. His staff (especially Kim) is the best! She has worked diligently getting my referrals through and setting up my appointments. Dr. Hogg was referred to me by a friend (Melise) and I am VERY thankful she referred me. I haven't had my surgery yet - so I will update after that. So far - I HIGHLY recommend him and his office!

I was impressed with him,, he was very nice, took his time with me, answered all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Hogg's office staff has been nice, kind helpfull and professional.

We have discussed aftercare and have discussed risks in detail.

I have only seen Dr. Hogg twice so far, and I havent had my surgery yet, so theres some of these questions that I can't answer yet.

Now that my surgery is done, I would highly recommend Dr. Hogg. He is a thoughtful and caring surgeon,, he checks on you daily sometimes twice a day at the hospital, he even called the day after I got home to check on me. If I ever need any type of stomach surgery I would not hesitate going back to Dr. Hogg.

His staff at his office is great also,, you walk into the waiting room and they know you by name. There all very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Hogg is an excellent surgeon with a wonderful personality. He is extremely conscientious about his patients, and is very thorough both pre-op and post-op. After seeing what good care he gave me during my hospital say, both my sister and her husband said that he would be their choice for a surgeon if they ever needed an operation!

Dr. Hogg's office is well-staffed and friendly, and they are the best when it comes to handling the insurance. I wish everything in my life went as smoothly as this did!

My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Hogg to me when I was researching WLS. She said he had an impeccable record of infection-free surgeries, and now I can see why. Even though I started out with the Lap procedure and was switched to open, my incisions and the trocar holes have healed beautifully with no drainage or inflamed areas. I was surprised at how neat and thin the incision was from this surgery as compared to other abdominal surgeries I've had in the past.

I really can't praise Dr.Hogg enough for my medical care and the excellent way my surgery turned out. He is skilled, honest, and straightforward, and definitely one of the best surgeons I've had the fortune of seeing!

My first impression of Dr. Hogg was that he knew what he was talking about. He told me the facts about the surgery and didn't sugar coat anything. He told me the good and the bad from the get go. His staff was extremely helpful before and especially after my surgery. They were very patient with me after surgery and answered every off the wall question I threw at them. I would reccomend Dr. Hogg to anyone looking to have this surgery. He was very thourough. However, if you are concidering this surgery I would research your surgeon and talk to people that he has performed the surgery on. Read everything you can and get all the information you can. The more informed you are the better. This surgery isn't a quick fix and you need to know that going in. It will be a hard and long journey and you need a good surgeon to help you through. Dont let anyone rush you into anything or make you feel like a number. Take your time and find someone you are comfortable with and definately consult with more than one surgeon. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't change a thing!
