Dr. Wachsmuth seemed very educated in this field and a very careing doctor. My impression has not changed only confirmed. She really cares for her patients and wants them to learn the new life style and stick to it. Her office staff is more than willing to help and answer any questions. They are all really kind and supportive.
I don't know of anything I didn't like about Dr. Wachsmuth or her staff. Future patients should know that she is very serious about this big change and she is the perfect surgeon for this type of surgery. She is very conserned about the aftercare and is always there for questions or concerns. She does have a very structured aftercare program and she does explain the risk of the surgery in full detail. I would rate her a 10. Her surgical competence and bedise manner are both wonderful.

When I first saw Dr. Wachsmuth, she immediatley reminded me of Meg Ryan from the movie "City of Angels". The perfect Angel. She was caring, straight forward and honest about what she requires and what to expect from the surgery before, during and after. She is awesome. For the most part Dr. Wachsmuth's staff were very understanding of the peoples problems and what they are dealing with. They remembered peoples names and gave them a boost of confidence when they saw them.

My first impression was that she is a very caring and very capable Dr. I've not had surgery yet but my impression has not changed any. I believe she tell you the truth not just what you want to hear. To be honost I did have some problems getting my letter in the beginning. But her staff has changed some and Janice has been very helpful. I liked everything abiut Dr. Wachsmuth she's very straight forward and I like that about her.

04/22/03. Called the office today and had to leave a phone message with my name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, age, height, and weight. They said they will be mailing me an information packet within two business days.

I met Dr. Wachsmuth yesterday for my initial consultation. Wow, she was wonderful!! She answered all my questions and explained everything in great detail to me. Even though she had emergency surgery and was late getting to her afternoon appointments, she did not rush and took as much time with me as I needed. She was very caring and understanding of my weight loss problems. I cannot at this time say anything negative about her. She was very easy to talk to and seemed down to earth just like me. A+ for Dr. Wachsmuth!!

4/3/03- Have not actually had an appointment with her. I read the things about her on this wesite and I am a Christian and I heard she was so I thought this would be really great. I have a PCP her name is Lesley Ware. My first visit with her as my new pcp was great. She listened to what I had to say and she agreed that surgery would be a great option for me. Theresa who is in the referal office as well as taking care of insurance stuff called me and told me that Leslie would refer me. I thought that was great. So a referal on my first visit. Theresa called me too to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover a CENTER but a surgeon. She is so helpful. I know and have a feeling I will like Rhonda Wachsmuth. She goes in to surgery with God on her side and that's exactly what I need.

I was very impressed with Dr. Wachsmuth from the moment that
I first met her in the cafeteria of the hospital
where I work. I had an appointment with her
and just happened to run into her one evening
when I was coming into work and grabbing a drink
before the start of the shift. I had been at
the hospital for 3 years and had never seen her
before, so I felt it was fate that we met that
evening. She was so approachable (so unlike most
surgeons I have encountered). She seemed genuninely
interested in my story. I have complete confidence in her
and her staff.

Honestly, I have not met her and am wondering if I ever will :(....It has been almost a month and I am still waiting, when you make up your mind 30 days is an FOREVER. I have heard wonderful things about her, so I am hopefully.

I have a huge amount of respect for Dr. W. SHE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Wachsmuth is a great surgeon. I was scared at frist ,but to know this was my only hope of ever being able to complete my dream in life was to do this proceedure,I found great joy in learning that this could not only reduce my health risk but also may resolve the problems that I endure on a day to day basis. She is a daown to earth caring surgeon that has done a great deal to help people in there new life....
