Dr. Gupta is an excellent communicator. I never felt rushed during my consultation. He sat down face to face and explained the procedure, the potential risks and the deired outcome. He made it very clear that if I didn't follow his instructions and exercise after the surgery, etc that I might grow to dislike him. When I left the office I felt informed and cared for, I was ready to move forward.

I am scheduled to have laproscopic surgery. Dr. Gupta and Dr. Marshall perform this surgery together.

I was very impressed by Dr. Gupta and his nurse Matt on my first visit. This is a very long process.....be prepared.

I would recommend that even though self asserting behavior is viewed as pushy or pestering by some that you continue to keep checking in with all of the different offices to make sure that everything remains on track.

i met with dr. gupta on 3/28/01 for initial consultation. i really enjoyed talking with him. he seemed very interested in what i had to say. we discussed the risks and the benefits of the surgery. i had a very good feeling about him as my doctor when i walked out of his office.
