Dr. Paul is a wonderful person. He spent an hour with me the first time we meet. He told me about the surgery and he then he asked me why I wanted the surgery. He has called me himself a couple of times to see if everything was going well. He is very sweet. I really can't find anything that I don't like about him. His office staff is like all others. There are sweet ones and then there are the ones that are kind of short.
My first impression of Dr. Paul was a positive one. He really takes up a lot of time with you. My husband went with me for my first visit and he talked with us for over an hour, making sure we understood everything fully. Three visits later my opinion has not changed. His staff is also very friendly and helpful.I would recommend anyone to him.

I would just like to say that Dr. Paul is wonderful!!! I really like him. He was excellant my whole stay in the hospital. He was very comforting before surgery, I was really scared.He has phoned me at home to check up on me.During this drastric time it helps to know that he cares so much, I really appreciate him.
Intelligent and humourous. Explained the various procedures as well as possible complications. I think that it is important for everyone to know what they are getting into. Also doesnt hurt that he is my neighbor.
Post-op 2-16: Now that surgery is over, must add additional comments about Dr. Paul and the Staff at Satillla in Waycross.
Dr. Paul: Unflappable. clearly works amazing hours, never loses focus of your care, or confidence in your recovery, for one minute. (just what the doctor ordered!)
Popped in to see me at least 2-3 times a day while in the hospital. One cool hand luke whom I think we all need before/after this surgery.
Staff at Satilla: Angels all of them. The RN's of course are all saints. Every one of them have iron wills and gentle touchs.
Dr. Paul if very upfront and honest. Is determined to help get insurance approval.
My first impression of Dr. Paul was good. He is warm, kind, caring, and friendly. He is very smart, the longer I am around him the more I realize this. His Office staff is wonderful, from the receptionist to the nurse. I cant't honestly think of anything i don't like about him..or his staff. He explained everything to me in detail. He will be there if i need him after surgery for anything. He has also explained the risks of the surgery, just as they are listed on here. On a 1-10 scale, I would rate him a 15. Rarely do you find a Doctor with both great competence and a good bedside manner..Dr. Paul has both.
I'll update again after surgery.

My first impression of Dr Paul was wonderful. He was very easy to talk with, and very informative. I was very at ease with him. His staff are wonderful. I told him about this site, he said he would check it out. He explained all the types of surgery that can and have been done. He talked in detail, about all the aspects of this surgery. He also has a sense of humor, I find that very important at this stage of my life.
