My first impression of Dr. Pennington was a good one. He explained everything very well and always asked if i had questions or concerns about anything. The staff at the office was pleasant and didn't have a problem answering question at all. I felt at ease, which was good in what could have been a high stress situation. I don't have my date for surgery yet, but I'm not concerned with my doctor at all and his ablities.
Surgery went great! Have been to a couple of follow-ups and even though usually you have to wait in the waiting room *forever*, it's worth it for a great doctor.
Dr. Pennington is the \"real deal\". He has a genuine love for the Bariatric patient, and assisting them through this journey. Before my surgery, he met me in the holding area. We prayed together. It was a great prayer...just for me. rnHe is also working very closely with Trinity Medical Center to ensure the quality of patient care is second to none.
Dr. P is wonderfull. I can sum it all by saying that he told me that he was going to take care of all of me, not part of me.rn
I love, love, love Dr. Pennington. I was referred to him by my PCP and I had to have a hernia repair before we could even think about the bypass. Dr. P did it and was just such a gentle, sweet man. He prayed with me before they put me under. My family are also very impressed with him.
Dr. Pennington is a devoted christian man and a wonderful doctor. He is very attentive to you when you are talking and I never seem rushed. I feel that he honestly cares about the health and well being of his patients.
The office staff is helpful but sometimes a littly frazzled, Margaret was wonderful in helping me with the insurance paperwork.
Dr. Pennington is straightforward about the do's and don'ts before and after surgery. He makes the risk clear and lets you know upfront that your health will depend on your cooperation and following the guidelines necessary for a healthy and productive recovery.
My first impression about Dr. Penington was his personality. He was so humble and so very nice to me.

There was nothing not to like about Dr.Pennington.
Dr. Pennington is a prime example of what it
is to be a Christian.
He strongly emphasized on aftercare for the next 5 years.
He did explain in full detail aboout the rist of surgery.

A big sigh of relief ~ he had done my thyroid surgery 18 years earlier. Pure coincidence that I ended up in his office. My regular "docs" would not do the surgery ~ told me I was too old!
I still greatly admire and respect him. He is usually in a hurry to finish office visits.
Great staff when you can get through on the phone (:>).
