Stephen Gooden, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center

Dr. Gooden was a very down to earth man. He had a straight forward approach to things.
My impression of him has only gotten better.
His office staff is very kind and caring. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Ms. Lottie is the best.
I think waiting for Dr. Gooden to make the list of risk for me to sign was my least favorite thing. (He don't like to be rushed :o) )
He emphasizes aftercare very much.

He was very straight forward about the risks of surgery. He made sure that I knew the death rate and the fact that the surgery is worse than Open Heart surgery.
Overall I would rate Dr. Gooden as a 99.
He has both a great deal of surgical competence and a wonderful bedside manner.
