I can not say enough good things about Dr. Richard Hwang and Dr. William Lightfoot. They are GREAT! I went to Dr. Hwang because he is the only doctor in this Gulf Coast area that has completed a fellowship in advanced laproscopic surgery. Unfortunately, because of complications my surgery had to be open. I had major complications and I credit these guys with saving my life. They both are very caring and have a great bedside manner. Dr. Hwang was very thorough is explaining the surgery and posssible complications. He went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend Mobile Surgical Services P.C. (William Lightfoot M.D. & Richard Hwang M.D.) to anyone considering surgery. They are the BEST in my book.

I liked Dr Hwang from day one! He is very nice and very straight forward, and I just got a good vibe from him the first time I walked into his office. He made me feel very comfortable with him, and his staff is very friendly and professional. He assured me he would take good care of me during my hospital stay, because I really didnt want to have to go to the hospital he practices at, but because I liked him so well... I did agree to go there.. I will keep you posted on my surgery and my surgeon!

This is the surgeon for me. When I was waiting in his office for that first visit, I noticed a bulletin board with prayer request and it also said,"If your looking for a church, ask me about mine". That impressed me because I'm a Christian too. He was the most caring and kind doctor I've ever seen. His staff was the kindest of all I've been too, and that's alot. It only took 5 days to get an appointment. He also gives out tracks at his desk for those who don't know Jesus. This is the right surgeon for me. I was extremely impressed and so thankful that I found this man.

He is the nicest man u will ever meet. Surgery went well. He was never pushey about it and seemed to understand well.
