Douglas Amend Bariatric Physician MD

Dr. Amend is from Emporia Kansas, not Emporin. He is an OB/GYN by trade. He has been an OB/GYN for MANY MANY years. He recently opened (with a group of others) a surgical hospital here in Emporia. I have delt with Dr. Amend in his OB/GYN office years ago. He was short with me and made me feel as if I was wasting his time. He is arrogant and even had a condition with our county hopital that no one else but him or his partners could preform C-Sections at the hospital.
