Dr. Im was my surgeon and he was simply amazing. I appreciate Dr. Im because he was patient with me during the entire process. He didn't belittle me or make me feel less than because of my condition. He was supportive then and a whole year later he is just the same. He did an amazing job on me. No pain. No complications. ONly success
Dr. I'm was amazing with our initial consultation, he made me feel very comfortable to ask any question and have a positive response given. Not only was I informed about the positive atributes of my surgery, yet the negative as well. The day of my surger Dr. I'm spoke with me to insure I was ready ad informed me each step that would take place prior to me being placed under.
I was supposed to have Dr. Park, but after a mix up at Kaiser, ended up meeting with Dr. Im and I absolutely LOVED him !! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I am now scheduled to be sleeved by Dr. Im and couldn't be happier !!
I too have only met Dr. Im once and he is very knowledgeable about the procedures, risks and advantages. I was originally going to have the RNY procedure however talking to him opened my eyes to the Sleeve. He answered all my questions in detail and didn’t make me feel stupid when I asked him the idiotic ones. He spent over an hour with me and I feel I was able to make a very informed decision on my surgery.
I am scheduled 4/20/11 for the Sleeve procedure.
I am very immpressed with my initial meeting with Dr. Im. I found him to be very professional and attentive to any and all questions, fears, doubts and misconceptions I had. I will update as I get closer to my surgery and of course after.
Dr. Im Was great when I met him, very compassionate and was really knowledgeable about the surgery. He made me feel completely at ease and awnsered all of my questions. I met with him several times and he was completely thourough every time we met, guiding me through the whole process. The Staff at Kaiser Richmond is great. They knew I was coming from far away and did everything they could to accomodate me, always calling me back promptly and they were all really friendly. Dr. Im and his staff were caredul to make sure that I knew exactly what to expect before during and after my surgery and helped me get set up so that afterward I would have all of the tools I needed to be successful. Overall I would have to say that Dr. Im is the best Dr. I could have ever asked for, always pleasant and helpful, took very good care of me and was just all in all amazing..
Kaiser Richmond has an excellent WLS program. There is plenty of pre-op planning and learning that you need to do. I think the learning and changes you need to make pre-op are the keys to your success post-op. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. rnrnDr Im is pleasant and also very knowledgeable. He has a great bedside manner. It is a team approach that I think works very well.rnrnThe only downside would be that they are now being slammed with a HUGE demand for this type of surgery so there seem to be long delays in getting appointments. I have heard some people complain about one of the psych but I had no problem with her and actually went back to see her when I has freaking out over my hair loss.rnrnI got from my 5 hour orientation to surgery in 12 weeks but that was not at all typical.rn
Dr. Im is very confident, and capable. He if very nice, but doesnt spend a lot of time with me. Most of my questions are fielded by the Dietitian, or by the Bariatrics Staff, but even so, Dr. Im does answer my questions when I want to ask him personally, and is very knowledgable and reassuring. He is also very encouraging of my weight-loss experience, even though I think Im moving slowly, he says Im doing great.
