I met her yesterday and I got a really good impression of her proffesionalism. She studied my file and explained how we were going to begin this process. So I hope that in about two weeks I'll have an approval from my Insurance Co. and we'll begin to see her team of Doctors.

What was your first impression of him/her? rnVery young and small. But knowledgeble in the subject and informed me of the process completly.rn rnrnHow would you describe his/her office staff? rnexcelent secretary shes the best. the ofice is to small.rnrnWhat did you like least about him/her? rnthe wait in the office. to many patients one loses to many hours in the office.rnrnWhat should future patients know about him/her? rnShe is a good Dr. But should have more control of the area of the care in the hospital.rn rnDoes he/she have a structured aftercare program? rnThe office needs more organization on this topic.rnHow did he/she address the risks of surgery?rnShe is extreamly clear and to the point.rn rnHow would you rate him/her overall? rn9.5 and i do not give her the compleat 10 because of the nursing staff she uses.rnrnWhich is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great?rnrnBoth are greatrnrnShe is very profesional and a good Dr if you believe you will have the decipline it takes go for it. We met with Dra. Santos today (4/27/05) for the first time. Every patient in that office was so happy, they were all showing me their before pictures and they were comparing notes on what to eat, it was really a very friendly atmosphere. She is like everybody else has said, petite, young and skinny. She informed us well about the procedure and answered all my questions in a proper manner. My boyfriend said he was not impressed with her people skills because she didnt even shook our hands when we came in, plus we had to wait more than 4 hours to see the doctor, it seemed like everyone that came in went before us. We are meeting with Dr. Albert Suarez on May 23, 2005 for a second opinion, so I'll keep you posted.

Hi. First impression, sincere and to the point. She proceeded to explain exactly what she does. She ask for full confidence and she mentioned that if you follow direction, exactly as they are explained you wouldnt have problems. Her staff, at least her secretary is a sweetheart, even thou they have a huge volume of patients she is very nice. You are given a list of things to do, and must follow them before operation, visits to the pneumologist, psychiatric, internist, dietian and cardiologist. Also she emphasizes at least 1 visit to the support group before the operation.

Over all 9 is a great number to describe her.

She is the best! My first impression of her was the same as almost everyone: She's so young and petitte! She is very proffesional and helpful, and her staff is prime! On the other hand, she seems quite distant in her proffesionalism, but that is minor. She emphazisei afertcare with monthly visits there, and a support group. Surgical competence is better of her. I'll rate her a 9 of 10

My first impression being one of peace & confidence. She seemed to know how to make you at ease & to answer all of your questions. My impression of her remains the same & I am very confident of her abilities. Her staff needs a little work, they are a little disorganized. Upcoming pts. should know that I have researched her abilities & I was told in confidence that she is always on top of her game in the OR by people that have worked by her side, she does her job but also she is always checking up on everybody around her & the pts. vital signs. She is wonderful with aftercare no matter at what time you call her she responds with care & patience. I would rate her a 9, because her staff require more organization. Both her surgical competence & bedside manner are great. She really cares for ther pts.

She was very friendly and attentive to my previous experiences trying to loose weight. She proyected herself to be extremely competent and knowllegable about obesity and the surgery including post op care. My impression has continued improving over time developing a more personal relationship. Her office staff is organized and cordial, however her nutritionist needs to expand her knowledge about the post op diet.







She is very involved and is currently my PMD.


She does including a very active support group that even visits you in the hospital.
She was very sincere and expressed the facts as reported.This ocurred even when being confronted with my knowledge of a patient that had died during the post op period.

She is an excellent human being with characteristics not typical of a surgeon regardings patient care in the humanistic and psychological aspect.
