    Dr. Ara Keshishian earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California, a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, and completed his surgical residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Oakland.

    Dr. Keshishian is board certified, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.     I was among the first few 100 DS surgeries Dr. K performed in early 2000-2001... I lost the 100lbs and went from 213lbs to 113lbs (was too skinny for me)... in the last 10 years I’ve put back on about 10lbs every 3 years More...

    What can I say. Almost 380 then, 200 now. He was straight forward with the risks and had a sense of humor when I joked. Not much though but enough to make you comfortable. Still alive 15 years later and 200lbs. Why you still reading :).
