My first impression of Dr. L. Ahmed was very positive. His staff was very thorough and patient. I came to the table with a list of questions and they answered every single one! I learned things about my body that they took time to tell me. Dr. Ahmed reassured me every step of the way that everything would be fine even when he noticed I had a large hernia protruding near my belly button. I was concerned about being eligible for the Laproscopic procedure because I had 4 c-sections and he told me that he would use the camera to see how much scar tissue was present then decide from there. He also mentioned that a specialist would also accompany him during surgery just in case his expertise was needed. Dr. Ahmed is very dedicated to aftercare. He personally visited me in the hospital the following day after surgery and checked my progress. His staff gave me hand outs with information to take home and I left the hospital with all of my necessary vitamins and minerals plus my Fragmin shots. I would rate Dr. Ahmed and his team a 10! Thank you for saving my life.

NO IT STAYED THE SAME HE SEEMS TO BE REAL NICE AND CALM. I THINK HE IS OVER WORKED LOL. CLEAN. I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM HE JUST NEEDS MORE TIME IN A DAY. COME TO THE HOSPITAL EARLY. WE DIDNT GET TO THAT YET. I DONT KNOW YET. WE DIDNT GET TO THAT EITHER YET. A 11 HE WAS GREAT AND QUICK TO THE POINT. THERE ALL NEED TO BE GREAT I THINK SINCE MY LIFE IS IN HIS HANDS HE HAS TO BE GREAT AT EVERY THING.
Dr. Zikria is the head doctor for the Bariatric Surgery. I will be operated by his collegue, Dr. Ahmed. The first time I saw Dr. Ahmed was on 08/09/02. He explained briefly what the surgery was and told me that I was a candidate. So far we have established a good relationship. I am able to talk to him about anything. He is very cooperative in answering questions. And as I attended other appointments, he explained in further details how the surgery is done. I have read so much about the procedure that I do not ask him many questions. He did talk to me about the risks even death. He himself has not talked to me so much about the lifestyle that you must live afterwards but other dr's have. I would give him a 9. I would say that both surgical and bedside manners are good.
