Brent Lancaster Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Brent Lancaster. He is a wonderful Doctor and is very professional from the 1st appointment thru surgery. He and his team care about thier patients and do not just see them as another number. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lancaster and his experience as an all around surgeon.

I am very happy with Dr Lancaster and the after care he has given me. I am 4 months post surgery.

He is a man of few words - he tells you what he expects and then expects you to do it. Of the 3 surgeons I could have ended up with, I think he is the strictest. He keeps you on protein drinks the longest and requires that you engage in some kind of physical activity an hour a day after surgery. His nurse Jennifer seems nice and did return my call promptly the one time I've called and left a message. He places a lot of emphasis on aftercare and expects you to comply and to attend the support group at Dr. Early's center. He is a straight shooter - no sugar coating. His bedside manner is not overly cordial or friendly but that's not his job - he treats you like you're his patient. I think he is an excellent surgeon. I saw him each morning after my surgery and he was asking me why I wasn't up and walking when he came by. In this case I'll take his competence over beside manner because I think he's probably the best.
