Craig Eyman Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I met Dr Eyman after my previous scheduled surgeon fell ill and could not complete my surgery. He was straight forward and to the point explained the process completely both complications and benefits. His office staff were very helpful, answered any and all questions I had in a friendly manner which made me feel more relaxed about the wole procedure. I saw him for a brief amount of time before my surgery and once after surgery Christine came in to see me both days I was in the hospital and to remove my draintube the week after when I returned for my follow-up visit, she is very caring and I think the to of them make a great team. Overall I would say his bedside manner and surgical competence are both great as well as Christine's.

My first impression of Dr Eyman was that he is very thorough. He's also interested in what you want to know. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't see any problems in the future. They emphasize aftercare as very important to them and to us patients. And they do have an aftercare program in place. The risks of the surgery were explained throughout the consultation. I would rate Dr Eyman a 10, and surgical competence and bedside manner are very important to me and Dr E has both.

Post surgery: Dr Eyman and his PA, Christina, (who has this very long naturally curly amazing hair, & just got engaged)are a very personable tag-team. She came in b/4 surgery to explain some things to me, and I was very at ease w/her at once. My husband and daughter liked her too. After surgery, Dr Eyman came to see me, but I wasn't in the room, so Christina came back later to check me out throughly. The next day, Dr Eyman caught up with me saying, "Wow, you must be feeling pretty good, I have to almost make an appt to see you!" He's was very happy with the surgery, said everything went like a book, and that I shouldn't have any problems. I start w/ aftercare Monday with my 1st post-op appt to take out the drain and hae any questions answered. They have a structured aftercare program, as Dr Eyman is head of the bariatric center of excellence with a 5 star rating. I'd rate Dr Eyman and Christina as competent in surgical and bedside manner. They are both great to me.

So far I am satisfied with my doctor and his staff. He told me the pros and cons and was very thorough.

The staff at Dr Eyman's office is wonderful. I can not thank Christine and Doreen enough for all of their support. I felt at ease once I met Dr Eyman. He was thorough and upfront.

I found Dr. Eyman to be very busy. I did not actually meet him until I was through the 6 months of nutrition training. He explained that the next step was to submit to insurance for aapproval. I met with his physician's assisstant, Christine Miceli, if I was scheduled to see Dr Eyman. Shw is the most wonderful, thorough, supportive, informative person!! I looked forward to meeting with her! Their office's dietician, Doreen Cudnik, is also the best. She always takes her time with me and is also very knowledgable in her field. I was having trouble post-op with finding things to eat, and Doreen was on vacation for the week. She must have checked her voicemail, because she called me the very same day I left a message and talked to me for almost an hour! They are all very dedicated to their patients and I highly reccomend their office. I still attend support group meetings at their facility, and Christine and Doreen are always the ones leading the meetings.

My surgeon and his staff are all wonderful, always there to answer a question or to offer advice. I hope they know how much I appreciate all of them and how they have helped me change my life.

When i first saw Dr. Eyman, i thought he was very foward and up front. He is very nice, not to mention he is good looking. I started seeing him and his staff at the South Pointe Hospital located on Harvard Rd. in Warrensville Hts.,Ohio back in January 2007. Everyone there are wonderful! They have programs at both hospitals that he is at(Parma,South Pointe). All of them emphasize about aftercare, and risks has well as everything else. They take there time with you, your not just a number. I would rate the doctor and staff at both hospitals a 10 being the BEST !!rnHe mostly does his surgery at Parma, were I am due to start my new life at.

Dr Eyeman seems to be straightforward. He tells you that when he wants you get something done, he expects you to do it (ie: pre-op testing). He was very frank about what to expect from the surgery, and the need to follow the program. I really like and relate to his manner. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I have never had to wait to get an answer, and they are great about scheduling. They also emphasize being ready with any questions, so you don't forget to address them when speaking with the doctor.

Thought he was young.rnrnHe is young but, he went to the local high rnschool in my city, played on the same team as my son, his folks still live in our city, just seemed right to choose this (my Doc) Doctor,besides he's a good listner.rnrnWith a great team next to him. The after care is right on target w/ great response time if you need to touch base.rnrnHe's a local guy that's made good!! rnrnHe shoots right from th hip - good program care.rnrnAftercare, as I said above on target good response. the team really makes you feel they are there for you and your well being. I love the temperment of Becky and Chris and Miz C (as I call her) relly keep the paper work flowing and the process smooth. rnrnDr. Eyman and Chris were very percise in their explanation of the proceedures.rnrnWell, very well indeed.rnrnSurgical competence WOW - beside manner his PA is fantasic!rnrnThe hospital staff could use improvement.rn

Dr. Eyman is very knowledgable. His staff kept me up-to-date on the appointments I needed to schedule. They also provided support group meetings which I attended. My overall experience has been very good.
