Craig Thompson Bariatric Surgeon M.D.
MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS THAT HE WAS A LITTLE YOUNG. I HEARD FROM MANY PEOPLE OF HIS EXPERIENCE SO HIS AGE WAS NOT A FACTOR.THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE , SUPPORTIVE AND THE BEST CHEERLEADERS.THERE WAS REALLY I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT HIM.I WOULD TELL FUTURE PATIENTS NOT TO WORRY, BECAUSE THE DOCTOR AND HIS PARTNERS ARE WELL EDUCATED AND EXPERIENCED.AFTERCARE IS EMPHASIZED AS A MAJOR PART OF THE SURGERY,BECAUSE THE SURGERYrnIS ONLY A TOOL, THERE IS ALSO SUPPORT GROUP.rnTHEY WERE ADRESSED AND BROKEN DOWN BY PERCENTAGE OF ALL THE RISK, AND IN MY CASE THE END RESULT OUTWEIGHTED THE RISK. I WOULD RATE THE SURGEON OVERALL WITH A 8 OUT OF 10.rnSURGICAL COMPETENCE IS GREAT, BUT YOU ALSO NEED GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

He has been a wonderful supportive surgeon all around, he's truly saved my life!! rnI'd recommend him to anyone who is interested in this surgery, as far as I am aware, there aren't any patients with complications nor have they had any deaths within their surgery group. rn Very structured aftercare program, visits once a week for the first month, then biweekly, then monthly. rn Office staff is very friendly, the bariatric coordinator, Judy , is definitely the most organized person I've ever met, and she returns emails or phonecalls very quickly.rn On a scale from 1-10, I'd definitely give my surgeon a 10 for competence, knowledge, bedside manner and compassion. rn
