David Street Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

One Star is being generous. Do not use this man or any of his other co-horts/surgical partners. Unprofessional conduct, unskilled, horrible care in hospital, hospital nurses have no respect or regard for this surgeon. Wish I would have known that before I let him take his butcher knife to me. I was perfectly healthy, only fat, before this s.o.b. worked his number on me and I have not felt well since. This so called company razzle and dazzle's you with all sorts of promises until they have your cash in hand and then they do not bother returning your calls for weeks and weeks. I have not and did not receive one thing that they said I would as far as service after the surgery. Find a doctor and a hospital that specializes in bariatric surgery only! Heck I wish I had gone to Mexico where it would have cost me a quarter of what it did here AND the aftercare is so much better.

My Surgeon was Dr. David Street, I love this guy, he has been my surgeon before so I knew him.... Everyone in his office is just great they are all very loveing and kind people and realy seem to care about you.... Dr. Street knows what he is doing and goes over everything very well and will go over it again and again if that is what it takes.... He is a grat guy and Doc... I will and have told others to go see him

Dr Street seems very down to earth. I have talked with him 3 times and I'm glad he is going to be my surgeon. His staff is great.
Dr Street called me him self to say I have to have my gallbladder removed before the RNY surgery. Gallbladder surgery was on 10/11/05 RNY was on 11/25/05 3 days in the hospital.

Really liked him. Very personable and professional. Put me at INSTANT ease. He is so kind and caring. I was pretty scared there when the complications tried to pile up, but he was right there with me and my husband for support.
His staff is all very friendly and see quite caring. No prejudgements. Just very helpful.
There is a structured aftercare program. Doctor is not involved in that very much but he has highly qualified and professional people that run those programs. Dr. Street covered all risks of surgery and I was very excited and ready to take that step.
I would overall rate him 10 out of 10. I just can't say enough about him!
I would say that I would rather have surgical competence rather than bedside manner, but both are great here and Dr. Street's partners came in and spoke with me also when he was not available.

Dr. Street will be doing my surgery along with Dr. Eaton. I have heard both speak about bariatric surgery and found them both to be very committed to the cause. The emphasis of after care surgery is of great importance. Both Doctor's as well as Kathleen Kellenbeck (surgery coordinator)couldn't say enough of about aftercare. Risks of surgery were mentioned and questions answered afterwards. Both surgeons were very thorough in their answers. When I heard Dr.Eaton speak, he was asked if he was morbidly obese would he have the surgery, his reply was absolutely. I would rate both surgeons as very caring who believe in helping the morbidly obese. I can not say what Dr. Eaton's bedside manner is like as I have not seen him personally, but I found Dr. Street to be very personable and helpful. I feel confident about my upcoming surgery with Dr. Street/Eaton.
