Diego Camacho Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

I started my WLS on Sept. 27, 2007. That is when I met my surgeon, Dr. Camacho. He is very personable. He answered all my questions and my sisters. He wanted me to see their dietitian and lose 30 lbs before the surgery. He said with any surgery there is a risk, but the risk was worth it. I had my gastric bypass on January 28,2008. Since I had the surgery I have lost 80 lbs, with an overall lose of 116 lbs since Oct. 2007. rnThe office staff is great. They are so friendly and answer all questions when I have had to call. Some days I had to wait a little bit to get in but most of the time it seems that I'm taken right in.rnDr. Camacho has a great bedside manner and answers all my questions. I had two of the incisions that didn't heal and had to have a visiting nurse come out. He has stressed that exercise along with eating properly was the only way to continue losing.rnI give him a A++. I believe that his competence and bedside manner were both great. I will miss him since he is leaving and going to New York, but I know that I'm in good hands with Dr. Reyes.
