Great Doctor, he has been following me for the last year and is doing my wife's surgery. I had a complication after surgery, through no fault of his, and he jumped on a plane in the middle of the night from his vacation to come back and take care of me.

I highly recommend Dr. Lin!

He is a young family guy. He is confident and is the director of bariatric surgery at Emory university hospital in Atlanta.

I have met with him once. He is charming and down to earth.

I personally think ... Dr. Lin a wonderful physician~ He was prepared, caring and thorough, he explained all of my options and potential risk. I originally decided that the Realize band was my best option because I already knew I didn't want the RNY (more like the malabsorptive effect). Dr. Lin provided a recommendation based on my healthcare condition(s);Which was food for thought! SO ... I decided to go with a more aggressive WLS... The Gastric Sleeve! I am so excited and pleased with Dr. Lin, surgical competence and his bedside manner. The Emory Bariatric staff are wonderful and been extremely helpful in preparing me for pre-certification phase with Aetna. The aftercare program is a $600.00 which is a little costly but, not bad in comparison to other programs that charge 3x times that or more in the Atlanta area. They provide access to the dietician and groups etc 's So it's worth every penny in my opinion.

My first Impression of Dr. Lin was great, he was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I had my surgery at Emory University Hospital so I also got to meet a great group of residents and students, they were all very nice. My impression hasn't changed, he is a great surgeon who really cares about his patients and people in general. He does alot of volunteer work, which I think is wonderful. He came to the hospital and saw me on Saturday and Sunday of a holiday weekend, incredible. His office staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful and understanding, except Cheryl, she can be a little grumpy sometimes. Emory's bariatric program has an incredible aftercare program, one of the best I think after reading alot of posts about people who don't know what they are supposed to be doing after surgery. Mine is all laid out in a book and I have my Nutritionist's direct office number in case of questions. He has both high surgical competence and a great bedside manner, I would rate Dr. Lin and his associates a 20 on a scale of 1-10, absolutely the best decision on a DR. I have ever made. Disclaimer: Of course this was my personal experience with him and any decision this huge should be made by you,and what is right for you, not by the recomendation of others.

Dr. Lin is the best. My surgery went well. I spent the night but only because I was 2 hours away from home. He wanted to make sure I was ok. A member of his staff checked on me several times and he came in first thing in the morning to release me.
