My first impression was that he was a very gentle natured doctor. Over time I learned my first impression was correct. Staff is very nice and courteous, especially Tracy. Overall I would give him 10 out of 10 for the before care, after care, and throughout the procedure and recovery. Fantastic surgeon! The actual hospital staff, which has nothing to do with my doctor and his people, were overall good too. Though I did have to question the nurse on duty when she brought me sugar for my tea once and when they brought me a straw another time, neither of which I can have. But as I said they are not a part of Dr. Seiloff's group either and they taught me well enough to know what I could and couldnt do.

Dr. Sieloff and his team gave a seminar on WLS at the hospital, and I attended at the suggestion of my primary care doctor. I found that I was impressed by his gentle demeanor and how he treated his nurses and assistants as valuable team members. Aftercare is emphasized, bedside manner was exceptional, surgical competence was excellent, and based on other members of my group who had him as a doctor, we all feel that we made the most excellent choice.
No negatives. really.

My first impression of Dr. S was a very good one. He's knowledgeable, kind, soft spoken and he makes sure you know everything you need to know. Him and his office staff are AMAZING!! They are very diligent and make sure you are taken care of. If a problem arises They are VERY good at taking care of it ASAP!! There's nothing I didn't/don't like about Dr. Sieloff. Future patients should know that he will do whatever it takes to take care of you and guide you through the process. He's realistic and he treats his patients like real people, he addresses the risks and assures you he and his team do everything to minimize those risks. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Sieloff and his staff, Jody his nurse is amazing and they are so in tune with their patients! He's not only a VERY competent Surgeon, but his bedside manner is amazing!

The impression of Dr.Siefoff is he is very soft spoken and knowledgeable. My impression stayed the same. His office staff is great especially His nurse Jodi awesome. There was nothing to not like. He is very likable. Future patients should know that he is great, patient and kind. He really emphasizes aftercare. He addressed them in detail. He would get the highest mark. Both were great. He is a great man. Patient and kind.

8/3/04 - My husband & I attended a WLS seminar held by Dr. Sieloff. We were very impressed with him. He didn't pull any punches in describing the procedure and possible complications. His presentation was very informative with detailed descriptions, charts & graphics. He also explained why MO patients have such a difficult time losing weight by more conventional methods but respond well to WLS. I spoke with Dr. Sieloff briefly after the seminar. I found him to be soft spoken and very personable. Also present were his nurse, Jodi and his insurance & scheduling clerk, Tracey. Both ladies answered all questions and made sure each participant had a copy of his informational booklet. My husband was \"reluctantly\" supportive before the seminar, but thanks to Dr. Sieloff, came out of it feeling much more comfortable with the procedure & my decision to pursue it. rnrn8/9/04 - I've submitted all my paperwork & letters of Medical Necessity to Tracey. She will file for insurance pre-approval. As soon as they receive the insurance approval, Tracy will schedule my first consultation with Dr. Sieloff. I can't wait! rnrn1/4/05 - Had my pre-op consultation with Dr. Sieloff & he was great! I aced his wls \"quiz\" but still had many specific questions and even though it was at the end of his day, he took the time to answer all my questions in detail. He never acted like he was in a hurry to go home (it was 6:00 pm when I left). rnrn1/28/05 - Dr. Sieloff did Lap RNY & gall bladder removal surgery on me on 1/25/05 and all went well. He is an excellent surgeon, very skilled but also compassionate and caring! I'm looking forward to working with him as I begin my new life!rnrn1-25-07 - Today is my 2 yr. surgery anniversary and I saw Dr. Sieloff for my \"check-up\" yesterday. He is pleased with my progress. I'm at my weight loss goal (100% excess wt. lost) and well below his wt. loss goal of 80% lost. He is still a very concerned & caring part of my weight loss \"team\" and I will continue to see him once or twice a year for life. Thank you Dr. Sieloff for giving me my life back!!

Dr. Sieloff is the best - you can talk to him about anything and you know that he is listening and best of all you feel that he really cares. If anyone in this area is thinking about getting the surgery go see him because you will not leave without any of questions or concerns being answered. rnrnI have felt completely safe with Dr. Sieloff from start to finish and all of his staff give that same 100% as he does. I can't say anything bad about him or his staff.
