I have only met him one time so far. He was a very friendly man and easy to talk to. He explained in considerable detail what he was going to be doing for the surgery (but it was about 2 months ago that we met and I don't remember much of what he had said). I am going to see him again on March 13, so I will get the details again then. I noticed that he was quite obese himself and I boldly asked him "If this surgery is so safe, why hasn't he had it done to himself already". He laughed and said that he hadn't figured out how to operate on himself yet and he was the only one he knew who would do it well enough. That and he felt like he would need to take at least 6 months off work, and he wasn't ready to do that yet.

When I first met him he seemed rough but as we keeped on talking he loosemed up. His office staff is GREAT. Can't really tell you more because things are at astand still do to insurance.

Not the best bedside manner, but very competent surgeon. No problems after surgery.
Office staff very helpful. Straight forward addressing procedure and risk. I'd go back to him if I had other things going on that required surgery.
