I had my surgery Jan. 27/10 but have gained over half of weight lost. I originall lost 100 pounds. Do I go back to square one or what. I have been worried due to the fact that I have had diahrea for six or seven weeks with gas. Has this had anything to do with my surgery amd something gone wrong

Dr Sohi is the best of the best. A kind gentle man who is extremely skilled in his profession. Count your lucky stars if you are given him as your surgeon. He personally wheeled me into surgery, and took time to personally call my family IMMEDIATELY after surgery. I look forward to be seeing him for my follow-up appointments.

I saw another guy at first then switched to Sohi when I booked my surgery date.
I had surgery done by Dr. Sohi on Oct.30/2009. That morning I meet him when I had 2 resign my papers because I Switched. I wasn't to sure really when I switched, I wished I gotten to met him first but I didn't. When I met him he seemed to be nice. Came out and went over the paper work with me and I signed. I felt he really nice about it and sat down and talked to me before my surgery and went over a few things with me before I went in. Came through it very well and my cousin was there with me.

He's very professional for sure,he's very outspoken I think, down to the point for sure, and he's figures out things really fast for sure when u have a problem (That's what I like about him the most).

I would really recommend him 2 anyone that's looking for a dr.
I think he saved my life in away only some people would know. Dr. Sohi.
I have learned a lot and I know we all have our ups and downs with this.
There as been a few times with my appointments His office wait times are Long and some other times its fast. So it depends what time of month and time of day it is, I believe. And also if he starts on time that day too, makes time go's good that day for sure. Also I have been there where there's so many people waiting people are waiting down the hall, When u see that u know its going to be a very long time. Just make sure u don't book anything else for that day then u will be fine for sure. I learned that the first time. And I have been fine ever since. Bring a book or something to read if u don't like magazines just a tip.

Dr. Sohi preformed a Roux en Y gastric bypass on me Sept 7, 2012. Right from the first time we met, I had total confidence in him. He's very cautious with his patients and wants to make sure everything is in the right place before operating. He's very reassuring and was very fast to meet my husband post op to tell him how I was. My surgery was virtually painless and my recovery is going very well.
His office wait times can be very long, he was 1.5 hours late for my appointment. Overall, he is worth the wait.

I had surgery done by Dr. Sohi on May 11, 2012. He was so great, very professional but with excellent bedside manner. I felt very reassured the morning of my surgery and came through it very well. He made my husband at ease too, which I was very thankful for. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for saving my life Dr. Sohi.

Dr Sohi was so kind and thoughtful. It was obvious how nervous I was when I first met him and he gave me all the time I needed. Each time I met with Dr Sohi he was the same; kind and considerate. Leading into surgery he was wonderful and very understanding to my husband's concerns. Dr Sohi spoke to my husband after surgery and reassured him it went well. In addition to that, both Doctors Sohi (and Glazer) stopped in to see me multiple times while in the hospital. I have had no concers so far after the surgery and know I can call if I have any questions. I would also like to say that Dr Sohi's receptionist is wonderful too. Yes it took a while to get in to see him, but I believe that is because he gives his patients the attention they need, I always brought a book so the wait didn't seem that long.

Dr. Sohi is a very informative surgeon. I found him to be respectful, accomodating and just overall sensative. I was very scared before my first meeting with him because of other peoples comments on other surgeons. I am happy that I was able to have Dr. Sohi as my surgeon. My surgery went great, there were no complications. He contacted my husband when I finished surgery to let him know I was okay and to advised when he should come visit and checked on me everyday I was in the hospital. I would recommend him to others.

My first impression of Dr.Sohi was... "Wow... he is a soft spoken man.." He was kind and gentle and very much to the point. He is very cautious. I've seen him several times since my surgery and perhaps would like more of a resolve of my situation, but he wants to make sure he rules out all other possiblities first.

His office staff were really nice and very accommodating and helpful. The wait times are a bit much and can try your patience.

The day of my surgery I was reassured by several nurses that I was in good hands. And I believe I was.

I developed a stricture within two weeks of my surgery I saw Dr.Sohi several times but he was hesistant to do a scope so soon after my surgery. We waiting for two months and it was very painful and scary. Finally I had enough, I couldn't drink, eat or even swallow my own saliva... EVERYTHING came back up. I was exhausted and sick all the time.

I saw Dr.Sohi again... and the next day I was in OR and had my stricture dialated... it was completed closed. I immediately felt better and have been on the road to a proper recovery ever since.

Dr. Sohi is a very polite man and explains everything to you in great detail. He answers all of your questions and makes sure you understand exactly what he has said. His staff are very helpful and kind. When you call, you actually get to speak to a person...not an answering machine!
Dr. Sohi went into great detail about the risks of this surgery and makes sure you understand the importance of the decision to go through with this surgery. It's a lifestyle change...not a quick fix. You have to be committed to yourself because you are giving up a lot to have this done.
After surgery, I will write more on him to let you know what he is like. But so far, so good.
