I really like the fact that Dr. Sonpal and Dr. Schreiber always operate together. It's like getting two for the price of one! The office staff, especially Sherri have been wonderful!

I just love Dr. Sonpal. He has the best bedside manner and a great sense of humor! He is also very caring and informative. He always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns that I have. He was so wonderful in the hospital after my surgery! I also thought it was great that he came and talked to me and introduced himself to my husband prior to the surgery.

I had my first visit with the Columbus Center in April. However, after finding this cite on the Internet, I learned about Drs. Schreiber & Sonpal in Cleveland. It made sense to check them out since it would be easier all the way around -- for me and my family to have it done in Cleveland. After I met with Dr. Sonpal, I felt sure I made the right decision. He explained the difference in the surgery that they do -- and there were two good reasons why theirs was better -- first, the way the pouch is connected to the intestine make it almost impossible to leak, and the way they do it holds the food in the stomach pouch so that it doesn't just go through which makes you feel full. Dr. Sonpal was very friendly, informative and had a sense of humor. The staff was also good. I spent some additional time at the office (waiting for my ride) and found everyone friendly. Their statistics are better than the national average also -- and I got scheduled for July 18 -- I can't wait!!!

Dr. Sonpal is very professional but very friendly. He pulls no punches. He actually seems to have a sense of humor. I'm really glad that we switched to Right Weigh Clinic to Dr. Sonpal & Dr. Schreiber. We haven't seen Dr. Schreiber yet.

Dr. Sonpal is an excellent, caring surgeon. He takes the time to answer questions and explain everything. His office staff is efficient and friendly.

I really like Dr. Sonpal. Very personable, very realistic. He puts me at ease. At my 6 week visit he was so excited about my weight loss, it gave me a boost. I liked the fact that Dr. Sonpal and Dr. Schriber work together and operate on every patient together. Combined they have more experience with this procedure than any other surgeon I researched. Their record of low complications is impressive... My husband and I believe they are the best there is...

Dr. Sonpal was very professional. He asked questions about my medical history. His staff was very knowledgable about the surgery, very willing to answer questions. One thing I did not like was that after the surgery Dr. Sonpal told my family and friends the surgery went fine and I should be in recovery for about 2 hours and than he left. He did not give them time to ask any questions and they did not like this.

They are always polite and helpful whenever I call.The staff and Dr. Sonpal both emphasized the risks of the surgery and the importance of after care. As far as bed side manner goes, my surgery isn't until February 14th.

I liked Dr. Sonpal, he is very warm, caring, and personable. He instructs you fully about the surgery and draws pictures. My impression hasn't changed. The staff was great and knowledgeable. They were willing to help with paper work which is amazing.Thank you Karen for leading such a great group of people! Future patients should know they will be fully informed about the operating procedures and get great aftercare. Dr. Sonpal and his staff stressed the importance of following through with vitamins, minerals, eating well-balanced meals.The exercise program was emphazied also. The risks of surgery were outlined and the discomfort was stressed(2 days) after surgery.I would recommamend Drs. Sonpal and Schreiber to anyone for their knowledge and expertise.Their surgical competence, bedside manner,and professionalism were great!!! Thank yous go out to the pre-op staff. The anestesiologist, anestitist, nurses, were great. Thank you EVERYONE!!!The hospital staff could wear less pungent perfume; it annoyed me. I got nauseous, and short of breath. These are my own thoughts about my experience.
