Very efficient and knowledgeable. He had done over 5000 of these surgeries at the time I scheduled mine...in 1982!
I got a referral from one of his prior patients, and I sent my mother to him a year later. He was brusque. Not a great bedside manner, but he answered all my questions, and MADE me go to a support group. He told me what the risks were, point blank. I don't like doctors that talk down to me, and he didn't. He might not have been the most polite man I ever met, but he was one great doctor!
