Joseph E. Podany Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr Podany was amazing. I have a tendancy to dislike Dr.'s, because of past distrust issues. Also, I had decided to use him as a reason not to continue on with the idea of surgery. But, when I met him, he was so down to earth, he acted like just a friend you were sitting down visiting with. His manner was very attentive and inquisitive. He acted like he had all day just for you. He answered every question thoroughly. His staff is wonderful, They are all very much in manner like he is. He is very strict about the diet afterwards, but also points out, its up to me to follow. He has after care for a year free, because he says he doesnt want finances to be a reason a person doesnt follow up. I feel very comfortable having him as a surgeon. I was referred to him by a friend and she had about the same kind of comments about him.
