Dr. McPhee was absolutely AMAZING! He truly loves what he does. He listens to all concerns/questions, answers them without hesitation. Lancaster PA is very lucky to have this man in the area! Great bedside manner!
Dr. McPhee is the most AMAZING Doctor!!! From the get go he was so great. He made me feel totally comfortable with everything that was going on. The day of my surgery he came in and sat with me and answered any and all questions I had before hand. Then after he was right there to check on me. He has the greastest bedside manner. At each of my appointments since having surgery he has been so positive and excited for me. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. I feel truly blessed to have had Dr.McPhee as my surgeon!!!
Dr. McPhee is type of doctor that listens to you and doesn't seem to be judgmental. He is straight to the point and tells you exactly what is going to happen. He has a great bedside manner and also I think he is also a wonderful and skilled surgeon. I just had my surgery and I am so glad that I had Dr. McPhee. He makes you feel relaxed and very important as a patient to him. It is just not a job to him. And any questions you ask him, you can ask and never do you feel like it was a dumb question to ask. I have been very blessed to have been able to have this surgery and to have had Dr. McPhee be my surgeon. His staff is wonderful and caring. Thank you NMCP!!!!!
The first time I went in to see him I was immediately comfortable. He's very personable, makes you feel comfortable right away and always asks if you have any questions and double checks. He meets his patients in his office, somehow that makes me feel better than being in an exam room. His office staff so far have all been very pleasant. Always laughing and smiling. He told me straight up the risks of surgery and what they do to best prevent them from happening. To other people it may be scary how he did his approach but I liked it b/c he came right out and told me, he didn't dance around the subject like there weren't going to be any risks. I think the only negative thing is that I didn't get any handouts or anything. In my initial appointment we went over so much info and we went through it so quick that I felt a little lost. But then I discovered that everything I needed to know was on the hospital's website.
I finally had my first appointment with my surgeon. He was totally awesome. He went over everything again with me that i learned in the 2 hour class and more. My hubby went with me and also was impressed with him.
I am going through the military since my hubby is navy and they really put you through a awesome program prior to surgery there entire process can take up to 6 months. At first i was like omg i want it now
but i have met so many wonderful people and have learned so much about nutrition and healthy living i have made so many changes with me and my family and its been great. I am so glad they take the time to teach us
in detail how this surgery is a life changing experience not only for me but for my family too.
Still no surgery date but i know it will come when then are 100% sure i have learned it all. Im so exicted...
