I was scared at first as he has only been assisting Dr. Bock with these surgeries and now is doing them under his own name. I will be his third patient. He immediately made me feel confortable and took time to explain things. He has been in general surgery at Group Health since the 70's. He is very well respected and has a reputation for being very skilled and fast.

Group Health makes you go through your primary care dr. before getting referred to the bariatric surgery department. One in the program, everyone is wonderful and it is a great program. They require aftercare and nutritional counseling for 1 year.
