Dr Dimarco is great. The first time I met him, he was very caring and took the time to answer allo fmy questions. This man is a godsend. The day of my surgery I was scared to death, he came in and talked to me before I went to the OR and eased my mind, told me this was a new begining, and was he right. Thanks you so much Dr Dimarco you are my hero!!!!!

Dr.DiMarco was late, as I have heard he usually is, but that means he doesnt rush his patients and spends quality time with them which I appreciated. I just adjusted my time schedule or called first to see how late he was running. He answered any and all questions my husband and I had and we left feeling we had knowledge of everything from pre-op to post-op, covered the risks and the aftercare program. I would recommend him to others interested in this surgery as I thought he was very competent. I have yet to have a negative comment to say, his office was wonderful helping me while I struggled with lawyers and the insurance company and they bent over backwards to get my surgery date in before my insurance changed at the end of the year. I thought they were first rate so far, I'll let you know about my post-op experiences and his "bedside" manner.

I was referred to Dr.DiMarco from my orthopedic surgeon. I need extensive back surgery and expressed an interest in the GBP surgery. Dr. Wolf had his nurse , LM , talk to me about her experience having the surgery by Dr.DiMarco. I began the process of seeing the doctor at his WL Clinic and investigating info about this tpye of surgery. I found it very frustrating waiting and doing the requirements of my health insurer ,Blue Sheild. Then began the journey of testing and waiting and testing and more waiting.I am in constant pain with this back problem.I was upset that I had to go thru the complicated process of pre and post GBP surgery. It has been over a year since I began the "journey" of having Gastric By-Pass surgery. And now more time will pass while I lose weight until I can have the back surgery. That is now scheduled for 7/29/2005.
I am very please with Dr.DiMarco. He is a wonderful, caring doctor. I am 90% happy with the service I have gotten from his staff. The staff is very professional and they have a good support system pre and post surgery.

Liked him a lot.

I still liked him and recommend him. The worse part about being his patient would be the amount of time in his waiting room, he is always running late - but again....wonderful as a doctor. HIGLY RECOMMENDED.

I was thoroughly educated on my surgery. Staff was fine.

My first impression with Dr. DiMarco was favorable. Dr. DiMarco took his time and addressed my concerns about the by-pass surgery. My impression did not change and became stronger as I met with Dr. DiMarco. Dr. DiMarco did my EGD and his bedside manner was exceptional! The Staff at the "Weight Loss Clinic" is exceptional. The staff is friendly, cheerful, courteous and helpful with all my questions, concerns and needs. I have searched high and low for a negative thing about Dr. DiMarco and his staff and there is nothing that I have experienced. Future patients should make sure they research every possible thing about by-pass surgery and become familiar with the process. Patients should strive to lose as much weight as possible on their own to make the surgery much easier on themselves and for the surgeon. Patients should ask questions and remember, the dumbest question anyone can ask is the one they don't ask! After care from the surgery is a big part of the surgery itself. Everyone at the Weight Loss Clinic wants their patients to get the most from their surgery. The staff is very concerned about the proper vitamins and nutrients and follows the patient closely. The risk of surgery was addresses very clearly and in common terms. Dr. DiMarco and I discussed the one patient he lost from by-pass surgery. He was still taken aback by this loss and has incorpoarted measures to prevent additional deaths. On a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, I rate Dr. DiMarco and his staff a "12"! Dr. DiMarco's surgical competence and bedside manners are second to none.

Dr DiMarco is very competent. Also he has a pleasant and professional bedside manner. During my initial appointment with Dr DiMarco, he emphasized the importance of follow-up care and compliance. He addressed the surgical procedure, and the risks as well as the potential benefits of surgery to both my husband and I. Dr DiMarco also emphasized the value of being a part of a WLS support group as part of the aftercare plan. His office staff have always treated me with respect. I would describe them as pleasant, professional and efficient.

My first impression of Dr. DiMarco was a friendly and caring doctor who is very knowledgable about bariatric surgery. I felt comfortable talking to him. I saw him only once so far, I won't see him again until I get insurance approval.
The office staff is very nice and friendly and also very helpful. The dietician are very good.
He does a lot of surgeries and his patients seem very satisfied. He takes the time to explain everything to you and answer all your questions.
He emphasizes aftercare a lot. He says that it is very important. He also has a good aftercare program for those who have had the surgery.
So far I would rate him a 10 overall.
I believe both competence and bedside manner are important.

Dr. DiMarco was wonderful. I had the VBG in 1996, so I had a HUGE scar and significant adhesions. Dr. DiMarco promised me that he would do eveything possible to so this second surgery laproscopically, and he DID! I was so pleased.

Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are great.

His office staff are wonderful, and they do schedule regular visits to track your progress. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't any structured support program.

Overall, I would rate Dr. DiMarco and his staff a 9.
