    Malcolm Robinson, M.D., FACS is a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and an assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Robinson received his college degree from Harvard University and medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his surgical residency and advanced fellowships in nutrition and general surgery at BWH. He is board certified in surgery and nutrition support. The author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts and editor of a textbook, Dr. Robinson’s clinical interests include bariatric ( i.e., weight loss) surgery, nutrition support  of patients with complex nutrition issues, and general and laparoscopic surgery. His research focuses on nutrition, metabolism and how to optimize weight loss surgery. Dr. Robinson serves on the editorial board of Obesity Surgery (a premier clinical and research bariatric surgery journal), is a national surveyor of bariatric surgery centers seeking accreditation as a center of excellence by the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ expert panel on Obesity Surgery.     Dr Robinson is a wonderful surgeon. I had many concerns and he took all my past medical history and helped me to feel safe about this surgery :-)
