Dr. Bilof is fantastic. He relly cares about me as a person and always spends time talking to me and answers all my questions. He continues his support long after surgery is completed and recovery has progressed. He's The Best!

I loved Dr. Bilof he was very nice and i felt extremly comfortable right from the start , at my first appt he explained everything to me and my husband i left his office feeling very excited about the surgery. His staff is wonderful and very helpful with everything that you need to do before and after the surgey. He has a wonderful bedside manner, You would be very lucky to have him as your doctor.

I HAD Dr Brolin but he refuses to operate on me now. - See my Blog.. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED... :-(

Ok I'm back, trying to recoup my emotions and get on with my life after Dr Brolin's smack in the face of not doing my surgery for me. I was SOOO ready and now I'm back to square one.. heck I'm LESS then square one as I'm not motivated to be smacked down again.
Anyway Here I am.. step by step.. baby steps at best.. I hope there's someone out there to support me in this.. I need someone who can take me by the hand and walk me thru this..
Sorry but I'm so alone and scared ..

My First impression of Dr Brolin was friendly and knowledgable. The Office staff is Very Friendly and caring. I'm still in the process of getting my surgery but I'm eager to meet Dr Brolin again in the OR and more importantly After the OR...lol.

Thank You Dr Brolin & Staff for having me as a patient. I'm sure you've heard this before but I KNOW this will change my life and Am Very Eager to have it happen as soon as I can. THank You for doing what you do for People who Need You.

rnI was excited when I first went to see Dr Bilof as he had an office in Bayville NJ which is nearby instead of all the other Dr's who's offices are over an hour drive away. SO I went there and was impressed with not only the DR but the staff who seemed very caring and concerned. rnrnDr Bilof after spending ALOT of time with me, said he would do the surgery on me after I got my clearances for surgery. I started to cry. I had been to 3 other dr's who said they couldn't operated on me so I had now finally found a Dr who WOULD operate on me. rnrnI was hoping to have my testing done sooner then this but as you know in the medical world. Things take time and it takes almost forever to get an appt for tests. rnI was MORE impressed with Dr Bilof because in Dec I got an invitation for me & my family or support system to come to a CHRISTMAS PARTY that Dr Bilof was throwing for his patients and perspective patients. rnHE used to be a vascular surgeon who decided he would rather help the patients BEFORE they got the that stage where they needed him for poor leg circulation. rnrnI felt his is VERY Compassionate, VERY Caring and Generous. I would recommend him 100% to anyone who's looking for a Dr for Weight Loss Surgery in the Toms River, Bayville Area. rnrn

my surgery will be on November 30th i am so excited for this moment. I am so happy that I have been excepted for this surgery now I can start a new life in getting healthy and eating right. I just want to thank Dr Bilof and his group who are so very gernerous and have been real kind.rnwhen I first saw Dr Bilof, my first impression was that he looked like and actor from tv. Then I told him he look just like his picture in his profile.rnThe office staff werr very nice and politernnothing I did not likernHe is very nice and explains everything in detail, about what he does in his surgery.rnHe makes sure you understand what you body is going to experience and tells you this is a life time change. rnrnHe explained that it is a serious procedure and there could be complications just like and other surgery would be.rnI think he is an excellentrnI beleive both are important because you want to know that the doctor know what he is doing and that you are in good hands. You also want to be treated nice after surgery because you put your care in someone elses hands and want to know they will treat you right.

My first impression of my surgeon was a good one. He is very pleasant, very informative and very patient and doesnt leave anything to the imagination. His staff is the best! The girls are all so wonderful, I love them all. Anytime I would call they were always there. I can't say enough about them. Dr. Bilof does emphasize the importance of aftercare very much. He explained in detail all the risks of surgery. Surgical competence is number 1 and bed side manner is great too. He has both!

I would like to thank Dr. Bilof and his wonderful Staff of fabulous, dynamic women for getting my surgery approved in less than one day! Yup. Less than a day. After starting my WLS journey on June 11th, 2008 and dealing with *another* office for a month, I finally got fed up with the way the *other office* was handling (or NOT handling) my case, and I found another doctor... Dr. Bilof! I have been freakishly pro-active in getting my surgery approved. Personally wrote up all of my doctor notes, hand-delivered all paperwork, went to see my PCP every week. But when I realized that the original office did not seem to have the same fervor about my case, I got frustrated. I scheduled an appointment with Dominga, and was in Dr. Bilof's office within days. What a refreshing experience! I met every member of his team, and he explained EVERYTHING to me in full, concise detail. What I thought would be the best procedure for me originally (lap-band) I quickly reconsidered after we went over a full list of risks/pros/cons. Yesterday morning I wondered if this surgery would ever even happen. Today I was approved for RNY, am slated for surgery, and can't be more excited to start my new life of health and happiness. XO
