Moises Tenembaum Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Tenembaum first performed surgery on me in 2004 (removal of a clogged sweat gland underneath my right armpit). He suggested WLS surgery then but I wasn't interested and let it go. It wasn't until after I had my son that I started to think about WLS. On my WL journey, Dr. Tenembaum then performed gall bladder surgery on me, and finally performed Lap band surgery on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. All I can say is that I love my surgeon and would recommend him to anyone who asks. He's sweet, patient and kind and I trust him implicitly. He operated on me twice before...how could I not?!?!

Dr. Tenembaun is a very professional surgeon.
At the Doctor's office, they are friendly .
The only problem is that there is always many patients waiting to see Dr. Tenembaum.

HE JUST COMES OUT WITH THE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING.6-DR.TENEMBAUM EMPHASIZE THAT WE SHOULDALL COME TO THE SUPPORT GROUPS THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COME.SO HE DOES EMPHASIZED IT 100%. 7-YES ONCE A MONTH , IT IS USUALLY THE 2ND WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH. 8-DR,TENEMBAUM ADDRESS THE RISKS OF SURGERY THAT THERE CAN BE DEATH AND SO ON BUT WITH ME DR TENEMBAUM TOLD ME I WILL BE JUST FINE.9-I WILL RATE DR MOISES TENEMBAUM 100% HE IS A FABULOUS SURGEON AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A SURGEON LIKE HIM IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I met Dr. Tenembaum back in February 2004, when I was researching this surgery. I attended the seminar given by him and his "partner" surgeon, Dr. Michael Drew. Dr. Tenembaum answered every question thoroughly, was very patient and actually encourged the group to ask as many questions as they wanted to. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is very professional at the same time. He explains the procedure in a very simple way, not the typical scientific way, making you understand what this surgery is all about. He does not sugar-coat things, is honest and real. His assistant at the hospital, Carol, is an incredible person, helped me along the way thru my surgery before and after. She is a true gift to anyone who deals with her, along with the nurse-practioner Jenny. I owe my being approved for surgery (thru Aetna) thanks to her hard work, dedication and caring. Dr. Tenembaum stresses to his patients that it is up to us to make this surgery work after his hand work is done. He emphasized eating slow, watching what you eat, portion control, etc. He laid out all the risks of surgery, but made a good point about the risks of not having surgery, of dying of high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. His bedside manner is incredible. He or Dr. Drew came by to see me every day while I was in the hospital. No question was too dumb for them. My surgery had no complications. I believe Dr. Tenembaum has compassion for the obese as well as Dr. Drew. They are incredible surgeons and incredible human beings. I feel fortunate to have them as my doctors. They literally saved my life.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING WHICH IS BETTER WHEN IT COMES TO BETTER SURGICAL COMPETENCE, BEDSIDE MANNER OR BOTH GREAT DR TENEMBAUM IS THE BEST HE IS THE GRESTEST SURGEON MAN I EVER KNOWN AS WELL AS DR DREW.

NO I DON'T HAVE NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT DR TENEMBAUM OR DR DREW . THEY R GREAT. I LOVE THEY BOTH VERY MUCH FOR SAVING MY LIFE.
