no I am not a patient but I phoned hoping he would be my doctor to service my lapband - fills etc he is in Richmond 604 276 0952
he does not do fills etc for anyone who did not have the surgery performed by him. He had no one to refer me to that could help me
(my dr W leung Surrey bc has retired now.)

Dr. Nguyen and his team performed my vertical gastrectomy (as well as gallbladder removal and repair of major umbilical hernia) in Richmond General Hospital on July 28, 2011. Leading up to the surgery I found Dr. Nguyen to be helpful, knowledgeable, very willing to answer questions. The people he works with, including internist Ali Zentner and the nutritionists at Garrett Wellness Centre also impressed me greatly with their friendly, helpful manner as well as their experience.
And his office staff did their best to help me with appointment times that fit my schedule coming from out of town and having to deal with ferries, etc.
All told a very positive experience so far.
