Havening sergery befor by Dr. Mehta I could never go to anyone else. They go over every detail and give you as much info as they can.
Dr Mehta is very nice. She kept me well informed of what was going on through the entire process, both pre and post-op.
Dr Mehta was very warm and immediately made me feel comfortable. She spent an hour with me during my consultation going over every aspect of lap band surgery in detail. She had a model of the stomach and a sample lap band and described the port and exactly how the fills would be performed. She answered each and every one of my questions in detail and with a smile. I feel very confident in my choice of surgeon due to her experience and meeting her in person. She explained the aftercare program at length and also addressed all the risks associated with the surgery. The office staff is very welcoming and cheerful. rnrnI only had a consultation, not surgery yet so I can't rate the surgeon at this point.
She did not actually do my surgery Dr. Kasmarcki did whom is no longer at that office ( he was ok ..) But Pinky ( dr . mehta ) is the best she has been taking care of me since I came in the office to INq about it June 06 and leading up to my surgery in march 07' . I have to say she is the best doctor I have ever known and just makes you feel so much more comfortable about everything invovled in it . Since my surgery I have drawn great success of 73 lb weight loss from , Liquids 02/28/2007 to now 08/01/2007 ~ . The staff Robin and Donna front desk always knew who I was by voice , and Laurie really helped out when Insurance needed more . I really have to say Caremax Surgical E. PAtchogue NY , really changed my life and I never really took Lap-Band as a big deal but , IT IS and I love it ..
Dr. Pinky Mehta is a wonderful surgeon, the staff is great and very friendly. I am so happy with my choice as her for a surgeon, I wouldn't change that at all!. She set my mind at ease, made sure I was educated about the procedure and shows genuine care and concern.
Dr. Mehta-I love her! In my opinion, She is so professional and calming. I remember laying on the gurney for the surgery, so nervous, and her soft spoken voice calmed me down so much! I totally trust and respect her. I feel that she is so empathetic and actually listens to you! The after care program is very thorough. She is a ten in all areas in my humble opinion!
