Dr Gorecki is a wonderful surgeon.
I had my surgery in 2010 and he gave me instructions on all I had to do to prepare for the surgery. I did everything. Followed all his instructions. On the day of my surgery, instead of having one of the hospital staff update my family of the surgery's outcome, he personally called my husband to inform him that the surgery was a success and I was in the recovery room.
An hour after I was transferred to the ward he came to see me and gave me a hug and congratulated me.
He said because I followed every instruction the surgical procedure for hitch-free without any complications.
If you plan on having gastric bypass follow every instruction, including losing a little weight, not eating solid foods two days before the surgery. It helps with your recovery. I was back at work 3weeks after and three month later my incisors were barely visible.

Dr. Gorecki is great!!. I really enjoy being able to say Dr. Gorecki is my doctor. I had a lapband done in 2008...Man I hate this thing...I had a good talk with Dr. G and told him I want it out, let's move onto the next thing...He laughed, BUT he was in agreement with me. I am scheduled for conversion to VSG on May 1, 2014 and I can't wait. Dr. G does not sugar coat, talk in circles or use medical terminology to confuse you. He is direct...I remember going to the ER because my band was acting up. I told the ER staff, no I won't drink contrast I can't drink water. I sat there in tears...then I heard Dr. G's voice say "where is she?, where is Ms.(my name)?", and right away I felt better. He saw the contrast bottle with the cup and his face turned a bit red. He said are you ok? Did you drink this? What's wrong?..He placed his hand on my tummy and said can you drink water?..Just his hand on my tummy made me feel like, ok all will be ok. Also, in other areas of the hospital Dr. G patients are treated differently. I have never seen him loose his temper with anyone, but I get the feeling he has when folks mess around with his patients. They treat you with kid gloves. Another doctor told me, "Dr. Gorecki is very particular and protective of his patents"..well yeah he is. His PA. Christina is just as wonderful and awesome as he is DR. G. Are there any drawbacks? Yes, don't go on a weds to see him...It's BAD...you wait a LONG time..

I just wanted to say that I am very happy with my decision to have weight loss surgery. Dr. Gorecki is a very patient caring doctor who makes sure his clients are very comfortable and well informed about the procedure they are going to have. Before, during, and after the surgery Dr. Gorecki took his time to explain everything. I never had any pain or discomfort after the surgery and Dr. Gorecki and his entire team made my hospital stay very comfortable and quick.
I think Dr. Gorecki is a wonderful, educated, and professional surgeon and I would recommend him to all my friends who are considering surgery.

Dr Gorecki is a very patient kind and knoweledgable person. He and his team has a structured system and an excellent support group that teaches your pre and post op as long as you are willing to learn. He is very successfull at his field. He takes extra time to be a listening to your thoughts. He is soft spoken and yet firm by telling you like it is. Thank you very much. Ms Puckering

What can I say, He inspired success and hope. he's not a beat around in the bush, sugar coated type of doctor, his demeanor is straight up and forward, but a gentle soul.. His professionalism as well as his staff and team are superb, I would recommend my doctor in a heartbeat. He believed in me even though I did not believe in myself. He has truly given me a chance to make my life and health better. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. GORECKI FOR GIVEN ME A CHANCE AT LIFE.

I am extremely happy I chose Dr. Gorecki. He is extremely attentive and his staff is friendly and informative. They answered every question and they did not make me feel like just another patient. During my Hospital stay he continued to provide excellent service. Customer service is huge for me!!! I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Gorecki was referred to me from a colleague that worked with him years ago. Dr. Gorecki never sugar coats anything; is a straight shooter. Dr. Gorecki has a extensive structured after care program for life. I did not see this type of program with other surgeons.

i had a good first impression so far. i will meet with him again soon. i haven't really had to deal with his office staff too much yet. i have only dealt with his PA Kristyn and she has been wonderful to me. but i will keep you updated on the rest of the staff. i can't really say there was anything ididn't like. none of us like waiting, but of cause we are not their only patients. i had to wait a while to be see on my first visit but he was just as patient with me when he finally got to me. his experience showed and he was very thorough with explaining the surgery procedure. it has been a good experience so far. i will let you know more as i go along. surgery date is feb 4th 2008.rnrnpost-op 3 weeks. i feel very good. dont really have any complications.

Dr. Gorecki was great. His staff on the other hand wasn't. His secretarty Jessie, kept telling me I shouldn't waste my time because my insurance would never approve me. Sure enough they did without any problems. There are many tests you have to complete before surgery and Jessie wasn't very helpful with anything at all. The nurses in the office were very helpful, they were there to answer any questions or concerns anyone has. I would definetly recommend Dr. Gorecki to anyone who is thinking of surgery; he's a great surgeon and is very caring and sympathetic.
