I am still going through the pre-op process. I met with Dr. Reinhold for my initial consult. I found him to be extremely personable. He made me feel comfortable and confident. I have never had a doctor sit at a conference table to explain something and move closer to me instead of talking across the table. I look forward to having him and his wonderful staff guide me through this journey.

First impression was that he was very business like. But first impressions are sometimes wrong, which in this case is true. I find him to be very nice. He knows what he is doing. He is always invoved with his patients, even when you don't see him face to face. The staff of the entire practice is wonderful, especially Jennifer and Jessie. I don't think this process would have been nearly as tolerable without Jessie. The staff doesn't treat you as another number or face in the crowd. The entire practice places a lot of emphasis on aftercare. They don't just do the surgery and leave you out to dry. They are very invovled and have plenty of aftercare programs to help keep post ops on track. I would recommend Dr. Reinhold without a doubt. I also would recommend St. Raphael's to anyone. From pro-op testing all the way up to my surgery day the staff that treated me at the hospital were wonderful. I was so pleased at how kind and caring they were. The way the doctors, nurses and techs treated me prior to surgery, made a very difficult, very stressful process so much easier.

he was all about money he wasnt into helping me or seeing me , when i called his office his frist words where about my insurance when i told him i had state insurance he told me to go thru the hospitals clinic where i felt like cheap human being. since october of 2000 i havent lost much weight about 70 pounds and now i throw up all the time and it rusty color blood and when i called his office all i egt is he isnt in and wont be in for awhile. i wouldnt let him do any kind of surgeyr on me again and i wouldnt advice any person looking in the ct area for a surgion. i feel that he just wanted the money and he didnt care about my health,he came to visit me about 2 times and very brief

I was a little put off by Dr. Reinhold at first. He seemed very business like and not very friendly. But, as I got to know him, I discovered how warm and caring he is.

His nurse practitioner, Jesse is FABULOUS! Jesse came to see me every time I was in the hospital and has given me a lot of good advice. She's helped and listened to me when I was depressed. I was one of the "one in ten" who got the infection in the incision after surgery and Jesse really helped address my concerns.

The one thing that upsets me is that I am out of work, right now, and thus have no medical insurance. I am due for a follow up appointment with Dr. Reinhold. In fact, I'm way past due. I have tried to work out a way of paying for my visit half this week and half next or in installments and they have told me they will not see me unless I pay up front or until I have medical insurance. I understand a Doctor needs to be paid and I intend to. But, considering how sick I was during my convalescence, and the importance Dr. Reinhold has put on follow up visits, I am very upset that there seems to be no way to see him. It is probably the last visit I will need for a year so I'm not going to rack up a huge bill or anything.

But, I do think Dr. Reinhold is a wonderful Doctor. I think surgical competence is the best! I also think his bedside manner is great. I was very scared. I never had surgery of any kind before and he helped me understand the risk I was taking, all the while making me feel relaxed and not so frightened.

Honestly and up-front.

On a scale of 1-10, he's a 10.

Surgical competence.

Dr. reinhold was very nice. There was a long list and i didnt mind that cause he is said to be a great surgeon in his field etc.His office was very great about returning calls, and sending out information in a timely manner.WHat i liked least...hahah was the walk to the office from the parking garage ...it was closed one day.:-).THey have a good aftercare program and its recommended that you stick to it as much as possible cause it will help you alot.Your not in this alone.

I thought Dr. Reinhold was an expert in his field. I didnt think he had the greatest bedside manner, but more importantly he was completely honest. He didnt sugar coat anything. I think he is a great surgeon and would trust him and recommend him to anyone who is considering this surgery.
His staff was very caring and knowledgable. I felt like a member of the family by the time I had my first post op appt.

He expects you to take control after surgery. He and his staff will assist you in any way possible, but they wouldnt hesitate to tell you that your success or failure is in your hands.
