Worked well with me.rnrnReally emphasizes aftercare and is very methodical with making sure you are on the right road.rnrnSurgical competence is excellent as is bedside manner. Even the family members who were in the surgery waiting room felt he took the necessary time to explain everything to them.

My first visit was last week. Dr Collier spent at least 30 minutes with me answering all my questions and concerns. I felt very comfortable with him. The staff was great and very friendly, not in a hurry and I didnt feel like a number. His after care is the best I have found anywhere. He has been in the Conroe area for MANY years and that made me comfortable. I know of many hospital employees that has had surgery by Dr Collier and they all suggested him. His bedside manner just makes you feel like he's there to help you and not just band you and push you out the door. He has you come in once a month for aftercare so he can monitor you and make sure your on the right track.I feel he is a good honest christian man who cares about your health and not just about money.

He is an amazling strong Christian man. He stands for his convictions and won't cheat or over sell you. If he isn't comfortable with your committment to change your eating habits as evident by not sticking to the pre-op diet, he won't prefrom the surgery.

Dr. Collier is Great. He has a strict program and is very conservative. His staff is very helpful and can always put you in contact with people that can help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a surgeon. I consider him to be a fantastic surgeon.

They seem to have everything together!rnrnMy surgery was a breeze! Everything went on schedule, like it was suppose to and recovery was also easy. My incisions are healing very nicely, the only scar I'll have will be the port. rnrnI have been satisfied with Dr. Collier, I have gotten what I asked for with minimal effort on my part. His office took care of getting insurance approval for my surgery, with minimal effort on my part, as well. rnrnHis seminar covers everything reasonably well. His recommended nutritionist and psychologist are also well up on lap band surgery needs and requirements.rnrnHe seems sensitive to his patients, and is not rnone of the doctors out there that has a negative attitude towards his patients weight loss results from the surgery! rnrnOverall, I would recommend him, especially to patients who live North of the Houston area like I do. He even has a support group started once a month in the North part of the Houston Metro area.
