From the first time I met Dr. Sadhasivam, I liked him. Every encounter with him after reinforced that feeling. Before surgery, I was scheduled for an endoscopy. He did the proceedure. Now he really impressed me. I was having difficulties and the way that he handled the situation, calmly, soothingly, and, most important, compitently really got my attention. My confidence in him was well placed. My surgery went very good. And post-op, even at the age of 60 and with multiple health problems, I did very good.
The note below says that I should say something negative about him, as nobody is perfect. While I agree that nobody is perfect, I don't have anything negative to say about him. He was sensitive, assessable, informative, compasionate and very compitent. What else do you want from a doctor? It's not like he's my husband..he's my doctor.
Right from the start, Dr Sada was so kind and understanding. He took his time to answer all my questions.
I originally started with the Binghamton, NY team of Dr T. but after 6 months of meetings and counselling and dieting, I still hadn't met the doctor and I left the group in tears and travelled 90 miles to Elmira to Dr Sada. The process was so efficient. There is nothing I liked least about him. He explained everything in our first meeting. The initial intake group meeting introduced us to the staff and outlined everything I needed to do.
He has a very structured aftercare program. He told me that at 6 weeks I need to join a gym to help exercise all the muscles that had been dormant to help undo some of the damage to my joints and bones. They did an excellent job of driving home how important the nutrition is and the consequences of not following the recommendations.
Dr Sada explained the surgical and post surgical risks.
Both his surgical competance AND bedside manner are great. I thank God I found him.
He was great! Did not make me lose 20lbs before surgery, which would have been impossible. Always willing to see me if I have a problem.
My first impression of Dr. Sadha was that he was a very quite and to the point kind of guy. rnHe explained everything over and over again. He made sure that you knew what you were about to do and always reminded you that if for any reason you changed your mind that was ok. rnThe staff at Arnot was wonderful. Every time that you go there you feel comfortable, they never treat you like you are a fat person. I always feel so at ease with them. rnThey are all about after care. They remind you that they are all there for you for the rest of your life. They have a dietician and case worker on staff and they are always a phone call or e-mail away. They offer support groups at their ofice and even give you a list of support groups in other locations.rnOver all I was very happy with my surgeon and his whole staff at Arnot.
