I think Dr Corbin is wonderful, He even came to support group meetings. He had me attend a support group meeting after my first visit with him. His staff is great, very helpful,and caring. rnHe said he started doing WLS in 1992 and he is doing several a week now. rnHis competence is not an issue with me I feel he is a very good surgeon. He has a program in place that starts before you even meet the Doctor and I have met a lot of his WLS people and they all think the world of him.rnrnThis Dr is no longer in Ark and he NO longer does gastric bypass...

Dr. Corbin is very laid-back and nice! He made me very comfortable, and he and his RN, Chip James, informed me of all of the surgery's advantages and risks. Although he is a relaxed sort of person, he is serious when it comes down to it and keeps me aware of everything that could happen. He also is sure to inform me that the risks are just that - risks - and are unlikely while in his care. He told me that he has had no deaths or major complications with the surgery, so that makes me confident that I am with the right surgeon. I'm still post-op, so I'll wait to finish the rest of my opinion after my experience. :)
