Shady Macaron Bariatric Surgeon

Being an operating room nurse, I knew I was ready for this surgery, but was still nervous. Dr. Macaron put my mind at ease. He explained everything and took his time, I never felt rushed when I went to see him. The office staff is so helpful, they really make this whole process go very smoothly. The things I like the best about Dr. Macaron are his confidence and bedside manner, he is very approachable and down to earth, but very capable. When Dr. Macaron told me I could return to work in 2 weeks, I was skeptical and worried. I am one week out and feel fantastic and I believe it's due to Dr. Macaron's skill. I can't thank him enough!

Dr. Macaron is very personable, he comes to get me in the waiting room, he took my weight and vitals, then spent a full 45 minutes with me. He spoke openly and frankly, answered all of my questions, and explained all of the surgical options. He then gave me his opinion and the reasons why he believes that bypass is my best option. I went to this appointment filled with negativity and judgment - of myself and others, but left filled with wonder and awe. The office staff were wonderful, very friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. The atmosphere of the waiting area is very comfortable, information is readily available about all of procedures. The doctors in the office are both vascular surgeons, Dr. Macaron is also a bariatric surgeon. rnAt this point in my journey, which is just beginning, I would rate Dr. Macaron a 10 out of 10. He was sincere, helpful, his bed-side manner is filled with care and compassion. His surgical skills are awesome, lap scars are minimal, and I felt his care and concern each day in the hospital. All in all Dr. Macaron is AWESOME! Kind, compassionate, happy, smiling, confident and sincere!
