From the very beginning the staff at Southwest Bariatric have been amazing. The seminar was informative, the care consultant never treated me unkind. Gale was amazing with answering my questions. Jerry the nutritionist was always available to answer my call. Dr. Clark was kind and willing to listen to me. He explained all the risks. rnrnAs far as I can tell he has great bedside manner and so far no complications from the surgery have been revealed. Granted it's only been one day.rnrnThe only thing I would have liked to know more about would be the gas pains. Not the gastro gas pains, but the ones as a result of having a belly full of air. Those have been a challenge to deal with.
My first impression of Dr. Clark was that he reminded me of an actor (Robert Ridgely)!! Wow! Someone famous operating on me?? Then when I realized that he was not Colonel James from \"Boogie Nights\", I started to really listen to him!! He's very calming!! Has a lot of opinions surrounding the Lap-Band surgery and the bypass, and he's not afraid to share those opinions! I love this about him! He holds nothing back! rnrnThe staff at Southwest Bariatrics are great! Jerry, the nutritionist (and everyone's best friend and/or worst enemy; depending on the day), is very knowledgeable and always willing to help ease your mind when you have a question or concern. The office staff is very helpful as well. Always very pleasant! I never feel like I'm being judged when I walk into that office! What a blessing!rnrnI would recommend Dr. Clark, and his staff to anyone!!
