I went to another bariatric surgeon who told me the best I could hope for was a 40lb weight loss; I was devastated. My PCP then referred me to Dr. Webb, what a difference!! Dr. Webb was sincere, friendly, and informative. Dr. Webb explained the entire procedure and a much greater expected weight loss. I had an Roux-en-Y revision and a Distal bypass on May 31st, 2020. I lost 92 lbs in the first three months and am still loosing. The support I receive from Dr. Webb and the staff at Memorial Bariatric is thorough, helpful, and caring. I still have about 150 lbs to go, but I am certain the team at Memorial Bariatric will help me get there. I highly recommend Dr. Webb and the entire team at Memorial Bariatric Surgery!!!

After meeting with Dr Webb I was presently surprised. There are still Doctors and Nurses that pay close attention to your questions and needs. I have not felt this assured with any other Doctor that I have had interviewed with. I am looking forward to my operation that will help me get my life back.

I have had a lap band, which was unsuccessful, and now I just converted to the gastric sleeve. Dr. Webb is the only surgeon I would trust to do either of these surgeries. Each visit, Dr. Webb would sit down and explain things in detail. He would then, very patiently, answer each and every one of my questions. When I went into my last surgery I was completely confident that he would take good care of me.
After my surgery, I was feeling something I was concerned about so I called his office. His office staff actually contacted him in the OR and got right back to me. After he was finished with his surgery, he called me personally to discuss what I was feeling.
He seems to be someone that not only knows what he is doing, but also cares about the people he is doing it too. I would recommend anyone having bariatric surgery in this area to go to Dr. Steve Webb. He is the greatest!

I had my gastroplasty 5 years ago with my best friend. This was the best present I have ever given myself!
Dr. Webb was great, the surgery was easy, no pain medications after leaving the hospital except Tylenol, and recovery was quick. You DO have to change your eating bad habits. I can't stress that enough. I have maintained my weight since the weight loss afterward. I NEVER want to be fat again. My best friend has gained 5 lbs, but she is also doing well. I do not feel deprived (except just after surgery), and still eat desserts. (Just not as much). People tell me I don't eat enough, but my weight has fluctuated little since getting to my goal weight. I haven't had Any post-op problems, my best friend can't eat salads & has trouble with chicken, so eats small amounts of that. With the surgery you feel full, & I never felt that before, so I stop eating when I feel full. If you are considering this procedure, go for it!!! Just remember, you have to develop new eating habits!
