Having a single incision procedure is priceless! The surgery went without any issues, I feel better than expected. Highly recommend the doctor.

I haven't had my surgery yet but Dr. Scarbrough is awesome at putting you at easy. He did my endoscopy in clearance for the surgery. One minute we were all talking and the next I was being woken up in recovery. He talked me down from the Lap-Band ledge and talked me into the sleeve. He took the time to explain to me the sleeve and washed away all of my fears about getting the sleeve itself. His office staff is amazing. The only thing that wasn't in his office was the psych evaluation. Everything else from vitamins to nutritional classes are right there. And if you have to be stuck in a waiting room THIS is the one to be stuck in (rarely happens). His office is on the 9th floor and over looks the museum district.

They have a very detailed aftercare plan and at your pre-op appointment they schedule you for a free class called the First Bite class to attend after your 2 week follow up appointment. They breakdown what you can having during your 2 week pre-op diet and are very detailed in the post-op diet.

I had my VSG on December 11, 2013. Dr. Scarborough came in while I was in the pre-op area getting my IV and getting prepped. He calmed my nerves. I was in the hospital overnight and he made sure to check on me twice (I was out most of the time). He even called to check on me the day after I got home. His bedside manner can't be beat. I went for my 2 week post-op visit and was very disappointed that I hadn't lost any way. He assured me that I was still healing and my body was adjusting to the weight lost during the pre-op diet.

Dr Scarborough is the BEST!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Scarborough! He performed the Duodenal Switch on me and I feel wonderful! I am 5'7 1/2" in height and started at 270 pounds and lost 140 pounds within 6-8 months to achieve my goal weight of just under 130 pounds! I have had NO problems and am exceptionally healthy, slim, and toned now.

His office staff helped ensure everything was approved by insurance within a few weeks and all costs were covered 100% by insurance. His office and staff was very professional and comfortable.

Dr. Scarborough was just IDEAL as a doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Scarborough in general and the Duodenal Switch gastric bypass in particular.

Dr. Scarborough is the best. This is my second surgery with him. He did my gastric band first, but I didn't loose enough weight so I opted to go back and get the sleeve. Both times he was incredibly attentive and sweet!

I am in the early stages of getting prepared for a Revision surgery by this Dr. I met with him this past week and immediately felt comfortable. I was amazed at how at ease he made me feel. I am so excited about the thought of getting a revision and getting back on track with my weight loss.... I have not had my surgery yet but as of now I think Dr Scarborough is a wonderful person...

Dr. Scarborough seemed professional and to the point. Over time, he seems like a warm, caring doctor who is very well qualified. His office staff is excellent and so helpful. His program is set up with nutritionists, a psychiatrist, and a warm friendly staff. He is a strong advocate of after care and has a great program that involves supplements and nutrition counseling. He is very honest and open with the risks of surgery. He trains other doctors on laproscopic surgery techniques.

My first impression of Dr. Scarborough was he is a BIG TEDDY BEAR! He is attentive and thorough. I have had nothing but positive experience with his office. They have been supportive and infromative. I never have had long waits in the office and even if I did, I wouldn't care because the view from the office is BEAUTIFUL. I reccommend Dr. Scarborough 100%!

I like Dr.Scarborough from the moment I met him. He answered all of my questions honestly and it was like talking to an old friend. He is a very kind and patient man.
